Im on my 2nd grow and I want to start cloning, I bought a humidity dome with tray and heating pad, I also have 2 - 40 watt fluoresent blubs that I'll be keeping on 24 hours a day....now i know it takes about 5-15 days for the clones to start rooting, but my question is: How long can the clones stay in the dome?? Can they continue to live in the dome for a long period of time, until im ready to move them into the veg stage? the reason I ask is because im out of seeds for this strain, and want to be able to have it again sometime down the road...If anyone can help, thanks alot....

I guess you could keep them in there for sometime. I mean if they are getting moisture, roots, and light, well why not.

WRONG.... it can actually be quite harmful to leave it in the humidity dome more then neccesary (until good root growth started)...Now the aprox amount of time i'm unsure of, but to much moisture can ultimately lead to death of plant...im looking in to it a bit more as far as time is concered....

IDK, I don't use a dome, no heating mat and no misting, just Clonex gel and solution, and rockwool cubes.

Was lucky I guess. The first time, there was no internet and all I had was about 2 pages of text and 4 pics or so in a 1989 SSSC (Super Sativa Seed Club) catalog for directions.

Not much to overthink and has worked well for the last 20+ years.
