Cloning questions

I started some big clones. Showing 3 pics. 1. Bubbler being used,2. 4 plants currently in veg state, 3. Clones in bubbler. Using a bubble with air stones. I cut them, put them in water, then dip them in rooting gel, then into rooting powder, then put them into the

bubbler ( pic above isn't my 4 plants just showing bubbler that im using, put in room with 4 plants in veg state, below ). Giving them 18 hours of light (600 watt HPS light ) ( put into room where my 4 plants are 5 weeks into veg 1646932492478.png, the stems are staying wet from the bubbles. This is what they look like on day 5, still alittle droopy but still green. Should I let them go? Do they need something? Or are they history? Less light? No air movement? Under a dome? Heating blanket?

600 Watt HPS is the a terrible light for clones even if its far away. My guess is thats your problem. Youre better off with a regular household flouresent bulb from lowes hung a foot above the clones. Not in the same room as your 600.

Also after looking at it again, you need do cut off all the leafs other than the apical tip and 1-2 smaller leaves below that. If you leave two be sure to cut 50% or so off the larger leaf. All of those leafs are taking in light and requiring way to much water with no root system to gather it from. Also youd want the humidity in your room to be close to 70-80% if you dont have a humidity dome. So potentially the 600w HPS wasnt your main problem but its not a great choice for cloning.

Just give them time they'll root just fine around 9-12 days - /+.

I'd put them out of direct light a bit soft lighting is better.

Thanks for all the feedback, I checked them Sunday after moving them away from the direct light. They look better, standing up , reaching for the light. It has been 7 days still no roots, hopefully by the weekend.

Starving for water. Do they have roots yet ? What do the roots look like ? I would think at this stage they would still have very little root mass, can't take up enough water for those leaves. First of all cut back on the leaves. Leave 3 or 4 leaves at most on top. Then mist the leaves couple times a day. Also you need high humidity. A dome works great but in your case just keeping the room they are in at 70% + humidity. And low light levels until they have roots to support new growth. You want low light high humpty. U have to support the leafs until they grow roots. No roots no water. The leaves will breath and absorb water to support them with misting with water and high humidity and low light. Again until they grow roots.

Thanks for the info., very helpful. Moving them away from the light helped them perk back up. This weekend will be 14 days hoping to see some roots.
