Cloning questions!!!

How big does a plant have to be to start a clone from it? I know you're supposed to cut from closer to the bottom of the plant and at a 45 degree angle, but how far up the stem do you take a branch or whatever? And where do I cut? Thole branch? Or just the start of one of the 5 finger leaves?

Whole branch right of stem. I cloned after three weeks.3 inches should be good.

3 weeks into veg? And which branch?
