Cloning +rep

Clones will wilt for the first couple days as they fight to establish roots; this is normal! After 3-4 days you should see them perk up. Make sure to spray your clones as they will take in water through the foliage, as they have no roots to do so. The humidity should be 70-90%, I keep mine under a 7" dome. Sometimes I'll use a heat-mat but it's not always needed (always suggested tho haha). "Pop That Dome" twice a day to keep your plants from molding as high humidity and spraying can introduce mold and bad shit. By two-three weeks, they should have established roots and will start to grow like veg plants from seed. Uhhh, you may add a small fert to the seedlings to give them a kick (Jiffy-7 Pellets and shit like that already include a "minor fertilizer charge" so keep that in mind). Once a plant enters veg, feel free to pack the space w/ CFLs within an inch of your plant. Happy Growing!!
I have found that wilting is caused by how the clone is handled and from where on the plant they come from. If done correctly and if taken older established branches wilting does not happen.

Everyone is so hung up on humidity with cloning? Why? What is the humidity in your veg area? Good enough! ez-cloners have proven that you do not need a humidity hood, as long as your humidity is decent like your veg for example, a simple mist every morning is all they need.

Humidity allows for an better enviorment for a plant struggling to produce roots...thats it! Dryer air wicks moisture from the little clone and without roots, dry out and die. Keeping it as high r/h as you can will help only if you can control that enviorment which IMO is harder to do than a little mist every morn.

I don't use a hood anymore on my clones and also use a home made ez-cloner, the key for me is keeping my temps both in the water and air below 75 degrees.

how are they looking today? are they in those peat pellets you soak and squeeze out?

they kind of look a little dry. you need to make sure the pellet is squeezed enough that it is completly surrounding the stem inside with no air gaps. if you squeeze out too much water, then spray the pellet to moisten back up.

when the dome is dry on the inside, spray a little water on it so it has droplets hanging on. spray the clones a little and the pellet if needed. squeeze out if too much water.

you need to open the dome a couple times a day to air it out for a few minutes and spray or not spray if needed when you cover it up again.

my temps both in the water and air below 75 degrees.
Add soil to this, temp thing... keeping temp up... will help put your % of clones that live up...
Colder temps [My Veg room/clone room] gets down to the high 50's in winter time...
The clones slow...slow... down...
Keep temps up to raise your % of clones that make it...

If your clones keep failing, maybe it something as simple as your branch/clone cutters are dull, and insted of cutting the cutters are smashing the cut, and fail will happen...

i know some PEOPLE , that only throw them under 24 hours of florcent lights, and spray water on them ever 6 hours for first week , thats it . less chances of mold, that towel will mold in 2 days

Take the frikin hood off! and water those rockwool cubes. Water them cubes daily until a little water comes out the bottom. Water is fine, I use 1:1:1 ratio myself. Do you have a heat matt going, if yes pull the plug.

I try to leave a little water in the bottom of the tray, just enough to fill the ribs, they shouldn't be sitting in standing water. That will give you the humidity that you need and you will then get condensation. I use Jiffy pellets though, rockwool is a little tricky with presoaking and all. If I watch them every day and take the dome off a couple times a day I will leave the vents closed. If I am gone for a week I leave the vents open half way or so. Either way I always get roots in 12-14 days.

what is correct temp and humidity?
I need humidity :(
Here's my 2 cents...Get a heating pad set it to 70 degrees (mine has a thermostat) place clone dome on top of heating pad, put a 6" fan blowing across the top, this will create the humidity and enviornment you need for healthy clones...

EDIT: Dome was off for pics...and I set mine straight into 205w of CFLs from the get go on 16/8..
