cloning.. there is just one part i dont understand..

okay i understand how to take the cut, use the gel etc... after that whats the best thing to do.. so ppl are saying buy those 300 dollar ez clones, nah i know there is another way besides this.. do i even need a machine or a humidity dome? .. can i make the cut, and put them in solo cups or jiffy pots like you normally would after you germinate a seed an slap them right under your normal light? (of course a lil extra further if your using MH or HPS) .. or do i need to buy one of these machines? they seem like there for hydro set ups, ill be using soil.. or am i wrong idk.. im looking for the most easiest way without buying a expensive machine

You don't need the machine. Pre-soak your rockwool cubes in cloning solution. Make your cuts, dip them in gel, put them in the cubes and put them in a tray on top of a heating mat 2 - 6 inches away from a normal cool white flourescent. Then wait and keep misting all the time. You might want to buy a humidity dome though...

easi m8, jus get a propagator m8, take the cut, put in a jiffy or root riot and in 10 days bam they r done, jus keep vents shut first 7 days and make sure u mist the propagator lid not the cuts themselves, after 7 days open 1 vent and if the cuts droop a lil then shut it, repeat process for a couple of days till the cuts adjust to less humidity, hope this helps m8, ive a 98% success rate wiv mine, peace out

i bought a set of clear plastic cups from the grocery to use as single use humidity domes. Take your cut, put the rapid rooter/rockwool in the cup, put another cup on top, upside down, tape it shut, voila, your cut is in an airtight, humid environment. stick it under a 23w CFL and check back in a week. You can substitute clear plastic food containers if you take bigger sized cuts. I've had a 100% success rate using 10 dollars worth of materials.

I use a spray called "Cloning Wax™" which slows down the transpiration rate of the leaves eliminating the need for a humidity dome. By the time you've shot roots the wax has worn off and its ready to go. Normally though you would need to keep them constantly moist for at least a week or they will dry out within a couple of days. Humidity dome . Base with heater pad

U can make an ez cloner for about 50$ or a bubble cloner for 25$. The upside to these things r that u just cut it, stick it, and forget. No spraying or babysitting. Plus u can ezaly see if ur roots r forming

Can you get that cloning wax in the states? Sounds awesome
