When should I add nutrients to resevoir when cloning....when i see roots I suppose...but what if say 4 out 20 have shown roots and the remaining are about to show roots anytime, would I hold off until I see more clones with roots? By the way I'm using a resevoir with an air stone no medium.

I don’t add any, if you see clones are starting to produce roots you should be fine. Plant is vulnerable and most likely don’t require any.

No, bare cuts dont require nutrients but after wounds heal and callouses form (nubs)...especially on seed plants, roots will start to explode. At that point, they need a little bit of food. Bare unbuffered water will just stress them out.

Should I add a little calmag with my light dose of nutes?
