ive never cloned before and i just watched a video on youtube about it, but i was wondering if its possible to use something other than rockwool? and if i NEED root stimulant crap or whatever? also a humidity dome? whats the simplest way possible i could do it without going to the store

my way, almost 100%

jiffy peat pellets- rootech root gel, 2l bottle cut in half covered with seran wrap. mist every 2 days, roots in 10-13 days out the plugs

Get some clonex rooting gel. I clone in soil. You can make a humidity dome out of something around the house.

would it work if just stick it in some soil and make a humidity dome? do i NEED the root gel?

rapid rooters imo are better than rockwool..and roottech gel has always given me 99% SR

Good luck without some kind of rooting hormone. They sell small packs on the counter at my local shop cheap.

could, ur sucess rate would be maybe 40/60, need to keep it moist, NOT soggy but moist,
to get 100% success rate build a areo cloner u can do it real cheap and it works great
