Close to chop day

I have 3 purple something's lol about 2 weeks out.
Picked up a new cannon rebel camera I'm pretty excited about and still tuning in.
1 will be fed lightly till chop day (no flush) , 1 will be flooded as a flush and the last I will let the soil dry out.
Should be a cool experiment for "flushing"

Nice to see someone is doing a flush vs no flush experiment. Let me know if there's any difference.

These girls spent about 3weeks outside while the building was going down and I think the majority of the nights were pushing 52℉
I'll get some more pics going, still building the room, cleaning, drawing, building, cleaning lol
They smell amazing though
Mix of FF ocean forest, some home compost, molasses, honey, RX Green A&B and a few of my additions
They started out as some small window plants as I built my room, transition from the closet

Majority of time spent under 1k DE-HPS
78℉ lights on w/50% H
60℉ lights off w/35-40% H

Gave them an H202 shower today , saw dust was everywhere but it'll be ok

Yes exactly, I have done normally a light feed till last few days RO then dry out dirt

But I have always heard these different ways of harvesting, so I'm going to go ahead and take a few different routes with my window girls lol
I'm excited for the flooding, get that early cure going on internally

I've heard of so many different "end game" methods: no feeding just flushing. Feeding no flushing to the last day. Letting the soil just dry up as the trichs begin to change. Keeping them in total darkness for the last day or so.
For me, I thinking flushing soil kind of goes against the cardinal over watering rule.
I've tried different methods with different strains, can't say I noticed any differences. But I've also never done the same strain with two different end game methods at the same time.

Exactly, so I'm hoping for some pretty decent results
I'm just wondering if I should go to a light feed or just keep feeding as usual for the flush vs no flush
That other girl will be sleeping with the fishes

Nice colors.

No flush, just make your last watering a feed. Then just let the soil dry out till you chop. Letting the soil dry will give you a little jump start into burning off chlorophyll.

I can tell you first hand the unflushed will have a bit more kick than the flushed, since flushing puts your plant into a minor state of shock, which can hurt resin production and potency

I've heard the same reasoning behind letting the soil dry out, a jump start into burning off the chlorophyll and getting into the drying/curing stages with smoother flavor.
Flushing will put them into a minor state of shock makes sense to me, since you're essentially drowning the root system.

Plus, when the soil is dry, you can pull out the whole root ball and soil in a single clump. lol

Has nothing to do with quality but does make clean up easy!

But yea, I go with the science. I'm not a biologist or anything, but that community has came to the conclusion that at no point should you stress your plants (excluding training/topping techniques) via feeding/watering.

Studies have showed that simply maintaining a healthy plant start to finish without any unnecessary stress produces a more vibrant and higher quality flower.

NASA biologists tell me to NEVER restrict plants from getting vital nutrients.

Not to bash any old school hippies around here that swear on flushing, but I'm going to go with the NASA biologists on this.

I can't really call mine a good or bad or a flush at all, when my autos are 3 days from harvest I give plenty of water for those 3 days, does it change anything, I don't know, why do I do it, just a habit.

Looks very similiar too a bagseed i ran last year outdoor, nice purple buds till the wind snapped my cola in half and blew it across the yard =((
