Looking for Recommendations on a decent system. I have lbs and lbs of fire trim that I would like to run. Looking to make shatter or diamonds.

Dont really need much of a system for diamonds if you open blast and pour into jars

You can drop epic money on an active-closed extraction loop. Check out the videos OSS (Open Source Steel) put out.

All I have is a closed (open is kind of dumb) steel blast tube with ball valves top and bottom. Soak for 90s then blast. I blast onto a teflon (PTFE) sheet that i've sort of made into a cup shape on the inside of a pyrex jug. Butterfly clips hold it into place.

After blasting I sit the whole jug in a warm (40c) bath (idk what its called but I use what I would describe as an electric bake tray). Let that cook until a thick goo. While the volume is mostly unevaporated, you may notice clumps floating the top, I'm pretty sure this is wax and i recommend scooping it out. Discard.

Then i remove the teflon sheet from the jug and put in a vacuum (degassing) chamber. Keep it cupped to stop it running off the teflon sheet. I drop the entire chamber back into the water bath, up the temp to 50c. I usually keep it in there for 5 days, returning occasionally to recharge the vacuum (with a vacuum pump). Half way i'll take the sheet out, put it in the freezer for 10m then when its hard i peel it off the sheet and flip it over. Then return to the chamber/heat for a rest of the time.

After 5 days of degassing its ready for winterization. Weigh what you have and combine with 95% ethanol at a ratio of 10ml per gram. Round up. Warm this mixture (can use the heat bath again) and fully dissolve into the ethanol. When pop it in the freezer for 2 days. Most domestic freezers are -18c so we're not going to get lab quality (-65c) results here. After 2 days pour it through some coffee filter papers, I use two unbleached papers. The second filter doesn't add anything to the result it just guards against breakages in the filter (which may make you cry). I recommend you let it drip out into a silicone bowl. To give you an idea I've just winterized 21.68g of BHO and removed 3.8g of wax and shit. However my oil is still quite dark.

Now it's back to the heat bath for the silicone bowl. Let all the ethanol evaporate and when you think its done, pop it back into the vacuum for another day of heated degassing.

At this point, this is probably as good as you can get it with a < AUD$1k budget.
You will get much better results (clearer oil) with a jacked blast tube filled dry ice.

For my next adventure I'm going to explore short path distillation on the final product.
