Closet box need ideas and suggestions!

my measuremenst are width 21 inches, length 2' to 30 inches, height 28 inches to 36 inches. give me ideas for lights and fans!!! and i will only be doing lowryders around 3-5 of them max

See that's what I was wondering.. do you think a HID would produce to much heat for that small of a box? I'm going to be doing it in a closet and and gunna try to hide it as much as possible but I will spend some money to make a good ventilations..just need some ideas. It's my first grow so I mean I'll try anything.

id stick cfl but only because you wanna save money, dont wanna get caught and dont have proper ventilation or experience yet


also, nothing wrong with a small cfl grow if its for personal use

I will spend money for proper ventilation if needed or a 150 hps would be good for 5 lowryders don't you think

I think I'm going to go the CFL route though how many bulbs would I need for vegetation and how many lights would I need for flowering?

try to get about 1500 to 2000 lumes per sq.foot for veggy and at least 3000 lumes per sq.foot for flowering.I would look into some t5 lights they are good for small grows. and dont put off alot of heat.mix up the bulbs do half 6500k and 2000k . you wont need a big fan for venting just something like a pc fan will work fine.but make shure you leave room for a little oscaliting fan to blow the little plants around.that makes the stalk stronger to hold the weight of the flowers.good luck and happy growing

say 3-4k lumen per square meter, the lumens will be on the side of the box, simple math here mate
