Closet CFL/ Out door, lemme know what you think?

First time growerr, I think I'm off to a decent start though. First of all here's my set up. I have 6 23w, and 2, 4ft. 40w. Everything is 6,100 Daylight temp, except one 2,700 Soft White because I only had so many Daylight. I'm thinkin some where between 16 and 17,000 lumens. No nutes. Just soil, coffee grounds, bone meal, and water. I don't know exactly when I should start putting them into flowing so if anyone could give me an idea, I plan to have a separate section for the flowering with about the same lighting. Comments welcome!!

This is my Norcal Purp X Church Kush Mmmm I found it in some bud I bought from one of the best collectives in Orange County so I'm pretty excited. This is about 8 days after sprouting.


Sour Grapes. It was in rock wool when I got it, I took it out of that and put it in the soil with some bone meal to help grow the roots after I planted it. It hasn't shown much signs of life though. Still purple stems, still about the same size, it has slowly grown but not very much. Two bigger leaves burned up for no apparent reason? Any suggestions?


The baby of my two bag seeds, it's one of three; Strawberry Cough, Hindu Kush, or Super Silver Haze. I'm thinkin Strawberry Cough. It's doin okay, it had a few leaves burn up a few weeks back, but has been veggin inside and on top great.
7 weeks vegging.


Master Kush clone. It lost some lower leaves early after I transplanted it out of the rock wool it was in; I think it may have been because it was in a tiny pot before I transplanted it again, a few days ago. It looks like it's doing better now that it's out of it's old cup sized pot.


Second bag seed, again I think it's Strawberry Cough. This has been my gem the whole way through Not many deficiencies other than being burnt by a light. >.<

Thanks, I'll work on getting more lights later today. My next door neighbors been growing for 25 years in Humboldt for 25 years and she's bringing me back a 400w HPS in January.
If I were to flower them this small would the yield still be okay?

what kind of coffee grounds do you use and how do you use it im just curious

I used this stuff from Jamaica (my dad just got back a week ago) but I'm pretty sure any coffee grounds work just fine, correct me if I'm wrong? I use about a table spoon per plant every two weeks or so. I just sprinkle it on with my fingers and mix it into just the top of the soil, and feed it.
I also added a chopped up banana peel and stuck that in the Master Kush when I transplanted it and so far the deficiency has stopped getting worse, but now it's in a little shock I think :/

One more question, should I start trimming my lower branches yet? It looks like it would be fine but I don't know how much air flow they actually need?

the plant grows 2 to 3 times in size when flowering
so you would be fine to switch the bigger ones to flower
well it depends on how much space you have too.

but thats just my opin.

So do I just cut the light cycles down to 12/12 and start using bloom booster and eventually boom?

Here is my girls' afternoon sun bath. The light reflects crazy off the ocean plus the easy breeze.

they need sunlight as well as airflow. If you could somehow get light to the bottom branches you should yield some good sized popcorn nugglets. I would leave em be unless you try supercropping the lower nodes. You still have time. keep us posted I would love to see em mature

Thanx for the Coffee info too! I thought you were supposed to use used grounds that are dried out. I will have to research that more.

No problem, my uncle used to grow for the neighbor hood back in the 70's so he's taught me his secrets. (;
He used to put fish emulsion in the soil as well, and crushed egg shells, but I didn't wanna have too much stuff for my first grow.

New light bulbs today. Now using 8 23w, all 2,700k.
As for the top that's still vegging, they should be okay under those two 4 ft. 40w right?
Those two bulbs together are putting out 6,100 lumens just for those two babies.

Woke up this morning to find that a worm or a caterpillar? had been eating away at my biggest plant last night.
It didn't get too much thankfully, but how did this happen? Probably from leaving it outside?

Veg room : 2 4ft. 40w 6500k = 6,100 lumens.

Flower room : 16 23w 2700k = 26,400 lumens.

Veg room is on a shelf above the Flower room.
Everyone's using a little bit of coffee grounds to help keep it a little more acidic, and 15-30-15.
