Closet Grow Next Steps?

Got a 1st time closet grow with 1 fem plant. 400 watt MH lamp for 6-7 weeks from seed grew to 30" on 14/10 schedule. Has little white looking sprouts and what looks like start of buds. Very green and healthy looking. Just put on 12/12 time last few days.
1) Should I switch to HPS bulb? I have the ballast for it.
2) Should I trim or prune anything?
3) Anything to watch at this point?

Switch to HPS and leave it alone, it will let it's leaves go when it's ready without your interference not like your stretched for light with only one plant and a HPS lamp.

what some people do is top the plant at this stage so you can get 2 main buds at the top its your choice but its pretty cool cause you get one huge bud thats a Y shaped. and if you have any bottom yellow leaves you should trim them off cause they are just taking energy away from the growing buds.

See a new problem... though does not appear major. Got the top leaves turning yellow around edges and top bud appears to be burning. Best pics attached.

Also... I just noticed some seed pods but not seeds. Could it be this is not female? Pics again.

Those seed pods look a lot like pollen sacks it may be a hermaphrodite, and the burning leaves look pretty bad too. You have a fan blowing in there?

I could be wrong, but those appear to be pollen sacks, some of which have even opened. In other words, it's a hermi. Other folks will chime in and confirm one way or another.

OK... I have added some circulation. I agree that this looks to be a hermaphrodite... does that mean I am finished? I removed about 5 of these pollen sacks that had started... all that I could see.

OK....I have done some reading on this post but did not see a definitive answer to my question. So, I'll ask again. If my plant is a hermaphrodite, should I kill it? or... try to remove any pollen sacks?
