Closet growin setup with 2 1000w hps lights *question*

i was wonderin how many plants i can push max with dual 1000w hps lights and wonderin if it wouldnt ring high hydrobills. was thinkin about 50 plants..would it have enough dispersion of lights? thanks in advance for the inputs

you can grow as many plants as you want,... the more plants you grow the LESS veg time you should have...

Often, it is better to just grow 9-18 big plants... that way you don;t have to worry as much about johnny law.. the consequences for MORE plants is usually more severe..

i thought 2 1000w hps lights doesnt consume HUGE lights.. maybe like 20~40 bucks more increased per month? like having a tv in a room. and for the yield wise, what do u mean by "big plants" like 5 feet tall ones? if so what would 20 big plants will give me ? in my calculation, one plant would give me around an ounce .

Yes, 1000 watt hps bulbs cost about 20-40$ dollars a month in electricity.. each.. UNLESS you go OVER your monthly allowance of electricity usage.. then they can cost 40-100 dollars a piece to run for a month...

A 1000 watt bulb will almost always produce a minimum of 1 ounce per plant and up close to 1lb per light. It is even possible to get 2lbs per 1000 watt light.

is what helps make the perfect (highest yielding) garden.

I personally like growing many plants with smaller yields per plant and faster turn around time... BUT i Have seen many many great grows with fewer plants and equally BIG yields... it just took more VEG time..

in common sense, when u r running 60 plants, would 1 1000w hps system would be good enough? or running two would be ideal?

i think that decision comes down to you, an how many plants you need an how much bud...have you ever thought of running 1 1k on a flip flop relay with 2 gardens...peace az
