Closet Heat Question

Hi RIU, roughly my grow closet measures 4x4 ft, and 8 ft in height. I don't have air cooled hood 400 watt MH just a regular one, a carbon filter exhausting air out. Now when I add a intake fan 4" 190CFM, would that be adequate enough to keep the inside of the closet cool enough even with the closet door closed?

Thanks:blsmoke:

If you only plan to have the one fan, I would think better to have it as an exhaust towards the top, pushing hot air from the light out, rather than just an intake fan moving air around inside.
(Hot air rises, right?;-))

Hey fellas, well of course I'm going to have one intake fan bringing in air from a separate possibly air conditioned room. And my second fan of course will run ducting to a carbon filter also taking air out. There will be no stagnant built up air. I just wonder if its going to be adequate, or else I'll invest in an air cooled hood and sell my standard one. Thanks for replies.

Yes cool air stays at the bottom.
