Just finished setting up my stealth closet LED hydro grow and wanted to make sure that I have a enough light coverage/intensity to maximize my yield (based on my growing room size and stealth constraints [I need to use only LED]).
I'm growing out of a GH Waterfarm and my [only] light right now is the Advanced Platinum Series P300. The product info says that it has a coverage of "4.5ft x 3.8ft at 18" height" - and so i'm going to [have to] assume thats [at least close to] accurate [but most likely not optimal at the further ends of the light].
Assuming I have my light hung at its maximum point (with 18" of space left until the top of the proposed canopy) I have 37" of vertical grow room (measured using the top of the Waterfarm as my starting point [not the floor]) and a horizontal area of 21" deep by 46" long [for scrog canopy].
Would you recommend getting [cheaper and smaller] supplemental LED panels to add at the very end of the canopy lengths (where the P300 reach would be at its furthest) or will this be more than enough intensity to keep the whole canopy happy?
I know Advanced LED's are expensive (and people have varied opinions on them) but i'm happy I made that my main lighting source, as for supplemental LED's i'm more than willing to branch out into other brands that cost much less.
Thanks in advance! (sorry for the terrible pictures but with the shape of the closet it's like impossible to get a good shot of how things look - hopefully you can piece together what it all looks like)
