What kind of lighting are you using? If cfls you may be able to get away with no inline fan. My first grow I had a stand up closet that when closed, was a slight crack between the two doors so.. I had approx 300 watts of CFLs in a 31" wide x 19" deep x 55" high closet with 1 oscillating fan outside blowing in between the doors and one inside aswell. But temps were 27C-28C with lights on so much more and I would have need to setup an inline with ducting to remove the heat.

Although I bought a 100$ tent off amazon and have no more issues :) Good luck on your first grow

Do some research on lighting and figure out what your going to use should be your first step. CFLs are what you are probably using around your house (small sprial bulbs). There are tons of lighting choices, CFLs, HID, fluorescents, T5s, LED... HID producing the most heat, but will give you the best yield and quality buds.

yea u can veg and flower with the same light. i have a 6 bulb T5 in a tent with no ducting for veg and my girls do fine. depends on the light u have and how much heat it puts off. i would say u might even b able to get away with a 150 or 250 watt hps in there depending on how big your area is, just make sure u have a fan in there to keep it blowin

I have done a little research I was considering a 600hps but wasn't sure it i could start from seed and veg with the same light.. I've always been a outdoor guy lol

HPS is not for vegging, that will give you a very stretched plant being mostly stem. Metal Halide for veg and HPS for flower if you go HID route. 600w is going to be hot, even a 400w setup will be hot and you will need a good ventilation system

no i have a 600w hps i flower with, but before the T5 i would run it from seedling to harvest with my 600w. be careful tho, 600w gives off alot of heat. dont wanna burn ur babies up

idk i never really had stretchy plants, just kept the light as close as possible and LST as soon as they were old enough and i had short thick bushy plants. u would need a good ventilation tho, i have my tents in my room and my room is about 10-15º hotter than the rest of the house. u can notice the difference as soon as u open my door

I have looked for a few tents but can't find the right dimentions . It's a weird closet it slopes down in the back .aout 2.5 foot wide and about the middle of the closet is 5 foot high . There's no way a tent would work
