I use 5 gallon buckets and keep the water/nutes 1-2 inches below netpot,
So, Id say 4 gallons.
As far as the internet police writing me up,

All i can say is this, I wouldn't ever wanna be anything like him(not saying his name, Im better than that, lets say he's a so called moderator of this site).
