yo closet nice 1 m8 :) hard days work well done.... bumper yield.
i didnt realise the fox farms were compatible wit hydro as well? we dont gt it over here, most go with the hydroflora or canna range,, i use vitalink.
wat will u do with ya trim bud, do u make hash? i had ago last time round using the gumby bubblehash method, look it up on u tube, worth a watch. i gt a pitiful amount back but it was a real nice smoke, smelt real real sweet and tasted the same.

did u say u was gonna flower at 30" with this lot? that wud be some big plantslol....keep u busy.

Hey SS,

Yup, went and did it!! LMAO!! You knew I was gonna hack em early huh? :lol: I just got done transferring the 4 clones into the 5 gallon DWC Buckets, and 4 Into the 7 gallon soil buckets. I fed em all like the fox farm schedule said. Gave em 1 drop of Superthrive per gallon. We're off and running again :) Now I have to get rid of all the old soil from the last grow. Lotsa fun! :sad: Iam changing my light schedule this round. Iam gonna do 18/6 this time, like Fox Farm suggests. I did some reading last night and alot of people says its the way to go. So, what the hell, gonna give it a try. It will certainly help out with the electricity bill, especially since Im running a 430 and a 1000 watter at the same time..Yikes!!!! The veg room will get the plants ready to flower the minute I harvest this grow. I want harmony. And dont wanna waste time. I now have a mother plant that will supply me with all the clones. I should not have a problem getting my girls to veg 30" in 2 months in there. Right now the ones in the flowering room are about 10 inches tall, and Iam going to give em 1000 watts for four weeks in veg. Should get interesting around here. Thanks so much for the nice words. Got too stoned, and I forgot to answer a few of your questions..

Yes, Foxfarms can be used with either Hydro or soil.

And I might have to look into making dat hash. Never done it before, we will see. I like trying new things, as you know. Hmmmm Just maybe.

Hey SS,

The bulbs I use for flowering is an Hps. Its the Eye Hortilux 1000(145,000 lumen output) with the added blue. It cranks out the imitation sun rays like an arc welder. And the veg room is a 430 son agro Hps. Its better than a regular Hps 400 due to the extra 30 watts of blue. Top Rated bulbs for sure. I just replaced em a few weeks ago, so there screaming. I did watch escape from alcatrez, and I remember the scenes your talking about. Heeheehee! Ever watch scarface?..One of my all time favorites. And the method, hmmmmm I will take a look at the procedure. I just have so much work in front of me all the time, but Ill see. The leaves are all crystalized, probably worth it. I smoked a bowl of the harvest, and its stonie assed shit. A good stone that doesnt leave ya for hours. Ok, I better jump in the car and get my supplies. Ill check back later. :) No, never done that. I just add the water/nutes until its one inch above the bottom of the netpot until roots are established. Never done anything more. The humidity, and the bubbles take care of the rest. I run 2 airstones per bucket in the veg room for added oxygen. Also, I layer the bottom of the net with one row of clay pellets before I drop in the clone planted in the rockwool. Then cover the rockwool with the pellets, and let her do her thing. The flowering room has that big ol' Hydrofarms air pump, dont need to add 2 stones their. It looks like the Grand Coulee Dam in dem buckets!! LOL! Well, I know I need to get a move on,..But, I had to take care of the last 4 Bubbler buckets in the veg room. whew! DONE :) Now I need to purchase some more Grow Big and Big bloom for the 4 soil grown plants. Its a job, But its all setup nicely. Oh yea..Duh..need soil And a Digital Timer too. Got everything I needed at the candy shop....:bigjoint: Im cool for a while now. The girls love their new home. Fan is blowing gently, and there letting there hair down..LOL! Your looking at the next 8 plants that will be grown out after the current grow. I will have a constant veg/flower going on, and will immediately transfer these vegging clones into the flowering room and go directly into 12/12 the same day I Harvest :) Its all about timing. 4 Soil plants, and 4 Bubblers. :-P

looking good closet, keep it up.. liking the flower room , those leaves look the size of my hand, nice one... im extremely frustrated at the mo m8 :( my grows nt going well this time round,, such littl eplants almost a waste of fucking time,,, my nl are only 12" and are starting to get hairy so nt much growth there left and my power kush is about 15" ,, has lots of bud sites but shes hairing up as well so not much growth left in here either,,,, looking at prob 2-3 oz if all goes well frm here on ,, ah well all i can do is look 2 the nxt grow,, im thinking a 36litre plastic storage box with lid, and 2 in there bubbling, under my 400w should manage the desired half a bar crop, also keeping 2 in veg is no biggie rather than loads of clones,,.

Sorry to hear about the frustration my friend. They sure can be a pain in the ass... I know. Thats why Im sticking with half soil until I get this shit down(Dwc bubblers). Your growing out some great strains! I think it would be great to see ya do a bubbler gig. The bubbler plants are 3 times the size of the soil grown at this end. I also hate the disposal of the soil and all. Makes my house a frickin mess everytime no matter how careful Iam. Yup, I honestly think your 400 watter would produce some huge plants. The biggest plant I have ever grown was under my 430 watter. Dude, rethink the plan, and I know it will all work out. I have sat here and thought so much my head hurts. But, Iam getting to where I wanna be. I dont think Ill ever do 15+ plants in soil ever again. Not worth all the hassle. I like the cleanliness of Bubblers in the flowering room. Yep the phillips Cermalux Son agro 430 is the best bang for the buck. It does indeed outperform ANY of the other 400 watt bulbs on the market. And they are relatively cheap. I think I paid $60 for it. You can use the same hps ballast no need to change anything. Just screw the bulb in and get busy. You do have an hps ballast,..correct?

yeah its from a local hydro shop, (nt sure if it runs mh as well!!),, i had a 250 a 400 and 600 but gt rid of the other 2 and kept the 400w... best for temps in my room. will look into them , as i was considering going mh nxt time unless i can find a hps with a decent blue output in the 5000- 7000k zone..

if u dnt mind m8 id like to quiz ya brain in detail about this dwc system!

1 what is the best temp for the nutrient solution and do u use a tank heater or have a floating thermometer?
2 where is the entry hole cut for the air tube? (lid) and if so then do use a rubber bung?
3 ok so i gt my nutrient solution mixed up to 400ppm on my cf (cuttings) and ph 5.8., do i then check with my cf meter daily to see how the ppm level is? or do i check every couple of days and adjust the ppm accordingly (up/down).
4 how long in general between solution changes,, couple of days /weekly etc. ie does water get stale ?
5 how low do u let the solution in the bucket get to?
6 do u use tapwater?
7 if fuzzy wuzzy was a bear,, and a bear was fuzzy wuzzy, if fuzzy wuzzy lost his hair,, he wasnt fuzzy wuzzy?

Hps is the probably the bet way to go... But, you will hear the pro's and con's of each. I would reccomend hps from start to finish :)

The optimum temp, from what I heard is 68 degrees farenheit. I do not use use a tank heater, or a floating thermometer. I just try to keep my room as cool as possible 65-75 degrees. Colder water brings more oxygen to the roots.

The entry hole is drilled on the side of the bucket near the top of the lid.

It gives me with exact measurements week to week. And since I follow the exact measurements, I think Ill get by without any ph/tds/temp meters, at least for now.

I let the nutrient/water solution get 1-2" below netpot after I see roots established. But, keeping it lower may help out with even more oxygen absorbtion. But, if its too low, overfert. will happen.

Straight outta my sink... Thats it. U Gotta buy a cheesy ph kit that costs $5 and check the ph daily. My water is perfect at 6.0.. I got lucky :) Ill eventually get a digital meter called a *tri-meter* real soon for exact measurements :)

GO FOR IT!!!! :) Like I mentioned earlier, The biggest plant I ever grew is the plant picture in my avatar. I got 4 1/2 ounces dry growing from soil under a son agro 430 watt hps. Can you imagine what Hydro will yield??? smiles..

Radical changes..Crazy Shit!!!!! :) Thats what I like about Fox Farms, it has performed flawlessly. The last grow proved it to me. ;-) The hydro plants are 3 times bigger/fuller than the soil grown. I left my osciallting fan on High all day yesterday in both rooms. The ladies took a beating but kept on ticking. The stems are increasing in size daily. The 18/6 light cycle seems to make my plants happier. When the lights come back on the leaves stand up vertically and pray to the 1000 watt God. A definite sign of health. Going well....so far.

im amazed at how fat that side cola in the pic is, wow donkey dick be fcked ... i am gunna go dwc, im collecting bits at the mo, picking up a 36l storage plastic box with lids tom, only 4 quid, aslo need 2 gt my hands on a decnt pump, silence is golden.. do u use airstones or do ya jus prick holes in the tubing and loop round the bottom of bucket? then its jus netpots and some new nutes, already have rockwool starter cubes and small cubes to put in pots. anything i dont have by harvest time i will have to let a little go in order to raise funds,,, speculate to accumulate :)

Nice to see ya on as always... Thanks for the compliments. I try. I use 2 airstones in each one of my dwc buckets in the veg room. The reason? Well, the pumps I have in the veg room have 2 air outlets per pump, so I figure the more air the better...Might as well use both outlets ya know. The girls in the flowering room use only one air stone per Bucket, the reason why is because I have an expensive higher output pump that ROCKS all the buckets like you wouldnt believe! Thats partly why the growth rate has been so damn good. The 1000 watts help too. I dont think you could overdo the bubbles.. thats my theory. CG
