Whats up!! I did my res change last night! Its a hell of alot easier with the controler bucket. It took my girl and I less than thirty mins. to change all the water, rinse the buckets with the plants in them and add fresh nutes. I am always worried about damaging my plants durring bucket change.

Oh i Hear ya...

Its getting more of a bitch every week for me.. I hate taking these sucka's out of their buckets at this stage.

A serious pain in the butt.

The next grow will be only 6 of em'
and thats final.

I gotta get some good plans on the controller bucket thing...

Have any good internet links on adding a controller?

No, I didnt even know people where doing it. I just did it cause im lazy. I got the elbows and gromet that you can find at the hydro store and had all my buckets drain into one. Then I drilled a hole in the lid of my net pot so I can have a lil pump circilating it back into the top. Its as easy as that. I still need to tweek mine so it can be on all the time. I just bump it on a couple times a day to keep things fresh. And when I want to drain I just lift my plants a lil and disconect the pump that feeds the top and put it to a drain bucket and dump it. Then I come back with a full bucket of clean water and rinse out the bottoms. Because my plant buckets are a little higher than my control, all the water drains out. I dont know if that makes any sense. Hope it does.....lol

Here's a few pictures of my Veg/Clone room.

Will be doing 6 Huge Glass Slipper plants next round.

Thought about doing 8, But I think 6 is more than enough running bubbler buckets,
especially with the space I have to deal with.

Getting hard to walk around the ladies in the flowering room.

The veg light is a "son agro 430 watt hps" I reccomend this bulb for any grower with a 400 watt hps ballast.

And above the clones, is a dual bulb t5 setup with built in heighth adjusters(chain).

Coming along... :bigjoint:

i was reading and seen that you dont like taking the plants out of the buckets. im high but it makes sense to me, if you have an output on the bottom anything that is on the bottom will go out with all the water. you could use anything like a open close valve of an outdoor fauset and screw it into the bottom of your bucket and put an input of some sort near the top(end of a garden hose with a cover.) and you shouldn't have to take your plants out for most of there lives. i tried to make a picture on paint but it wont let me upload it.:bigjoint:

Hey Cg while you got them open you should change out your airstone. Mine start to clog after about a month.

Keepen the leaves green and the Roots white!!!!!!!

Great advice bro, :hump:

I take a small wire brush to the airstones everytime I change out the nutes, They seem to be bubbling at there very best :)

Its seems that the blooming nutes gives them an off white appearance from the guano etc..

I was using a cheap $5.00 kit to check my ph,
and like I thought, it was off.

Now I have precise measurement of ph, ppm,and res temperature.

Everything is dialed in Perfectly. :)

Its a must have, and so what the heck,.. I got it. :hump:
