Hi everyone, just got back from a short walk in the woods behind my house. I went to check on my California Hash Plant that I put outside a few days ago. I was a little worried when it started raining really hard yesterday since it has only been out for a little while. Just to let you guys know that it is in a 2 gallon pot in Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil, and is getting the Fox Farms trio for nutes following the schedule.

Anyways here are the pics.

Nice plants, might do some lowdryders myself they look neat.
Could i ask what country you live in,because down here in the uk it would be impossible to leave them outside at night this time of the year, even though we had a few weeks of good sun its all rain now and colder with frosts.

I live in the U.S. I imagine it is just down right cold out there. Good luck to you when you do start growing.

Hey cloud you said if anyone had any auto Q's you got answeres so thought I'd run a couple past you.

Each winter, on average, your risk of frost is from October 18 through April 19.

Almost certainly, however, you will receive frost from November 1 through April 3.
You are almost guaranteed that you will not get frost from May 4 through October 4. Your frost-free growing season is around 182 days.

So what do you think should I go ahead and plant 4/20 as planned or wait for May 4? Ncase u forgot ill be starting outdoors from seed, but I have been saving up 2 litre bottles like u suggested for while there babies. Thx cloud peace:weed:

I would say you are safe to plant in may, but if you want bigger yield I would plant when it is 3 weeks before you get the most amount of light so your buds can grow bigger and faster. Do you know what I mean? You plant, 3 weeks later when they start to bud at the same time as it can get the most sunlight. DAMN I forgot to save up my bottles.

Sorry for being gone so long. I have been called into work unexpectedly the past two days and had a busy weekend.

I plan on going out tomorrow and taking pictures, and will be checking on the Cali Hash Plant to see if it is time for harvest, I'm expecting a small yield, because it outgrew my indoor grow and was put under a window for a few weeks while in flowering resulting in small buds. I especially need to check on my LR2 because it was raining nonstop and today was the first day in a while with lots of sun.

I know everyone has been waiting... IT IS OFFICIAL, I will be soaking some of my seeds at the end of the week before I plant them outside this weekend.

Just as an experiment my buddy and I planted a couple greencracks about 1 week ago outside in nor cal valley, we have a big, CLEAR 20gl bucket with vents on the sides and have it staked down to provide some protection from the wind and little amount of rain. Its been getting into the 40's at night which I though would stunt the plants but their actually doing great, not saying this was a good idea, infact it wasnt my idea at all, but with the clear buckets sort of protecting them while still allowing light, hopefully they dont die. Id like to hear others thoughts about this idea, I know it prob sounds stupid but any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Peace

thats the reason why i am saving up the 2 litre bottles is cuz cloud gave me the great idea that they would protect them from the elements while they are small so if you have clear buckets i would think that would be the same effeft

I want to keep this short, but what I need to say is Friday I will be soaking seeds to be planted this weekend. I took pictures when I was out checking on my outdoor babies. I got some pretty nice shots of the river 50 yards from my patch. Pretty good quality for a $125 camera from wal-mart.

I liked listening to Proud To Be A Stoner by the Kottonmouth Kings while looking at these outdoor shots. Try it http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/search/songs/?query=Proud To Be A Stoner

If you have any questions, tips, or comments just let me know what they are. Here are the pics.

Hi everyone, got back from another trip yesterday. I just wanted everyone to know that I have germinated 25 seeds and about 20 of them actually broke ground. I planted 5 seeds of 5 strains and they include road runner, easy ryder, lowryder #2, diesel ryder, and purple jems. All but the purple jems and diesel ryder are feminised. I will take some pics tomorrow of the plants I have going right now and some of the seedlings I have indoors.

Sounds good man, are you going to be planting all off your seeds on 4/20, or just some of them? I've heard that the PJ's are the shit, but I have never seen any finished product. I should be planting more in about 2-4 weeks for a split harvest, It would be too much for me to trim.

well plan on planting them on 4/17 usually after i put in dirt the majority breaks ground in 3 days so i want them to break ground on 4/20 to me thats when there life starts. but i may plant the PJs early cuz they will take longer than the 60 day wonder and dont want the harvest to be that far apart if i decide to stager the harvest i will just let what i dont want to finish go a few days longer i like to trim as soon as i cut them down i find it harder to cut the leaves off once they have dried out and laid on top of the buds

Seems like you have everything pretty organized. I see what you mean with the PJs, trimming dried buds sucks balls. Good luck with your plants.
