I've only seen clowns one or twice, but they were a bit creepy... I prefer circuses with acrobats and gymnasts/contortionism, but some people find that creepy to watch too.

clowns are creepier than ventriloquists. ventriloquists just look like they are perpetually straining to take a dump. clowns have faces that don't match their actions, and why the hell do their mouths need to look like that? and that hair. they look like they started out as a bad racist joke.
