I have a question for you D.

Have you noticed any growth tendencies based on seed size for the DOG's?

Meaning, I have some Fem DOG beans, and some are relatively small, but there is 1 bean that is prolly twice the size of the other beans.

I was wondering if you could judge pheno based on the size of the bean?

Or am I asking a silly question?

Actually I don't think its a silly Q. You could be onto something. I was convinced that the seeds that look a bit more silvery (not so heavy tiger striped) are the ones that have a real OG lean to them. So yes, I would say a big ole fat seed is def going to be something that is interesting....imo.

I think someone should do a comparesen with same strain seeds, smaller vrs larger and plain vrs stripy. I got some sour cherrys and most are smmall and stripy but there are a few darker ones, im thinking the darker ones will maybe be the purple pheno.

i've been wondering about this recently too. the last batch of smelly cherries i unwittingly made, the purple pheno pips are almost black whereas the green pheno pips are normal brown and a bit striped.

saw a thing the other day about trying to sex a plat by looking at the shape of the seed, apparently the diagram came from an old site overgrow, i've not got a clue if there's any truth to it tho.

nah i think your right man the sour cherry pips were tiny, the smelly cherry is only one part of the sour cherry,

the sour cherry is: C4 (Casey Jones & Headband, Cherry Cheese, Livers (aka Blues)

smelly cherry is:
Exodus Cheese cut x Heath Robinson's Black Rose x Cherry Assassin x Livers (aka Blues).

the smelly cherry pips i sent you a while back were f2's the black one's i'm referring to are f3.
