Club soda or seltzer water to water plants?

Just to make this clear...You spray the leaves, you do NOT water the plants with the soda water.

but once the water passes through a spray wont the bubbles be gone?
Not sure but....your roots need OXYGEN, co2 is not good for your roots. Plus Im pretty sure its right in the growfaq that you spray the leaves and you do not water the plants.

make sure you dont use club soda to mist you plants... it has sodium in it and it can built up on your plants and damage them.

lol maybe capture the CO2 in a ziplock bag? put the bag over the lid of a bottle of soda then shake it up to get the carbon dioxide molecules moving faster and escape into the bag then zip it up and give it to the plant somehow...IDK imma noob at growin LOL

DO NOT USE CLUB SODA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! use seltzer water, club soda has salt in it and you dont want that, i do it to the plants when they are small but stop once they start flowering, its way to easy to get a good case of bud mold if you soak your buds with a spray bottle, personaly im not to sure about the ammopunt of co2 this delivers to the plants but it does wash them off which is good too do from time to time

If you don't have a great co2 input to your plants this can help 100 fold make sur you turn your fans off while doing this it give's your plants more chance of takeing in all that lovely co2 make sure it's just soda water with no additive's this will fuck your plant's.

Definitely don't use Club Soda - Lots of Na(Sodium).
Don't use Seltzer -1/2 the Na of Club
Someone already said it I'm sure, but Na clogs stomata.
Use Sparkling Water. ZERO Na, just H2O and CO2.
Arrowhead Sparkling Water, Non flavored as sugars/flavoring also clog stomata.
About $1 per litre at any store. Plants eat it up.

roots can take in oxygen and CO2. thats why overwatering can kill any plant, because the roots are suffocated.

Hi there, dont know if anyone answered but i think baking soda makes pH lvls go up.
And thanks about first part of question, because im starting my own garden and i was thinking about problem of co2.

I've been pouring a can of seltzer into my run-off bucket every day. i don't know how much it helps, but my assumption is that the co2 dissolves out of the soda into the air, where the plants can get it. since it doesn't go on the plants, i use raspberry lime flavor, because thats what i drink. i'm hoping maybe the flavor will get into the plants somehow.
