I'm running side by side grows right now and im about 2.5 weeks in. Different light setups in each fixture. Keep light extremely close to canopy. Thusfar all running neck and neck.

no it was huge all the way around floralicius grow. i have pics on my old virgin mobil phone but no way to get them off without activating it.i swear it never was gonna do nothing over six months nothing .tried everything to
make it go into flower nothing. i got mad that it was takeing up all the light so i thought male or hermie killed it the weed gods have hated me since

Just not understanding how you covered a 6 ft tall plant with a 2x2 ft. footprint and still got good development more than a foot down the stems...?

I don't have any suggestions other than maybe an actinic white to help fill in the rest of your spectrum

Sounds like it was starving for light and never properly developed, prob had about one node per foot. Prob looked like bamboo

nope never did bud epic fail had shite load of nodes all over. bottom leafs kept dyin i had to hang the light side ways at an angle bought mirrors to help. i had a second plant i sacrificed that big one for after six months. i didnt know shite still dont i didnt have the net or books. i just winged it i learned later i needed to step down hours slowly. not just throw it into 12 12. like i said epic fail i didnt say i got bud from it lmao

Either the UVL AquaSun or Quantum Grow bulbs are good choices for V&F, that is until the right bulb comes along. Also the Coral Waves
Of course during flower, you need to supplement with a lot more red. If you switch to FloraSuns during preflower, you don't need the UVLs, or Quantum bulbs, as the FS also provides a nice band of B/G. By mid-flower toss in the Red Lifes and you should have damn good light results

This might be the most stupid question ever posted at RLOL but I got to ask.
Do you know if
side or overhead supplemental lighting with red incandescent bulbs helps in flowering?
There are also red flourescent twist bulbs available at home depot. Thanks!
