I veg'd for about 60 days and induced flowering at about 21", which was 35 days ago. I am using some kind of f(_)cked up tub system recommended to me by a friend. Basically, it's a soil/water culture-type deal but I used FF Original Planting mix and didn't add perlite, which appears to have caused me problems. Unfortunately, the tubs weigh so much, I can't get the two separated to view the roots that have grown down in to the reservoir. I thought that I had a mag deficiency a couple of weeks ago, so I used Cal-Mag Plus in the nutrient solution and in foiler feeding as well with no change. I decided that I may have just over-fertilized and burned them a little so I flushed them with a gallon of water through the soil (none made it down to the reservoir, as the soil was pretty dry) and left them alone for 4 days. On the 5th day, I noticed that the leaves were very soft and flacid so I thought maybe they needed some nutrient, so I mixed up a weak, early-flowering Roots Organic solution and added about half a gallon to each reservoir. The next day, which was Thursday, both plants looked like death!!! The leaves turned a little more rust-colored on the edges and in sparse patches as well as some of the leaves towards the tops turned yellow. I freaked out, and drained both reservoirs and here we are. The soil in both containers is pretty dry, but I am totally confused.
:wall:

Any advice would really help me out! Thanks in advance!

so u were running soil in a hydroponic? Ive heard thats inadvisable.....maybe try either pullin it out of the reservoir, if the pot ur using isnt big enough transfer it very carefully to a bigger one.
if u want to continue runnin the reservoir(which im thinking ur running a deep water culter, go look it up under forums its under hydroponics in subcategories)u need to wash off ALL(must be all) the soil off the roots and likewise in the whatever kind of pot ur using. there are lots of easy mediums that wont fuck with ur plantst hydrotron is wat i use(and if u dont wanna spend money i heard kitty liter is the same thing but dont quote me!)
what im thinkin is u have two sources of nutrients going to the plant...
the soil, which u dont know what nutes it contains, and the reservoir. so u could be doin everything fine and still have deficiencies and vice versa.
try it it u dnt have anythig to lose and if im wrong nothing drastic will be done to the plant.
but i suggest getting the soil away from the hydroponics and choose one.

i think your freaking out and over caring for them that looks pretty damn nice. ya you can see a few MINOR nute problems and some burn but they look good. just slow down stop nuting and flushing them back and forth :P

Thanks for the advice! I am about to abandon the idea of feeding through the reservoir because it just smells swampy (more than just the fertilizer) and mychorraizae doesn't seem to help. H2O2 seemed to help - should I stick to feeding through the reservoir and add H2O2 to every feeding or just stop using the reservoir and feed through the soil? Thanks a lot guys!
