Quick question.. How close is the recommended distance for a fresh germinated seed in soil.. What about when it sprouts etc...

I have a 200w Bloom booster (solar flare) and in flower I went at 12 inches any closer and it burned the plant tips. I would raise it about 6 inches and watch to see if it has good growth. You may have to play around alittle to get it dialed in. I have to do that with every new light because most are different . good luck.

Back of hand test: hover your hand over your plant, within 10-15 secs the back of your hand gets too hot then its too close. If your lights dont put off alot of heat like lower watt cfl's for example, then you can put it at just inches from the plant, but need to raise it often. If you dont have ratchet hangers on your lights then give yourself a bit of distance so you dont have to adjust every other day. All things to consider

Yoo how often should I water the baby's? Been misting the top of the soil around 4 times a day..whenever it's dry.. is that tooo much?

for babies i keep it safe at like 2 ft after a couple of days of them getting digested thats when i lower down to about 16 inches.

I use two 400 watt LEDs (about 185 true watts each)
