I agree on wearing eye protection...option 2 is to dim the lights while you are in there working.

Mh and hps has blinded me over decades, my led dont dim so l cut back hours to 16 in veg. At top of tent, drop down to 1ft for flowering, let them grow into it, only raise if necessary. Dont find leds as bad as hps. Cmh no idea but think its like hps and mh cross. So not good for eyes at all. Spectrum leads my opinion here. And only spectrum. Blue burns eyes more than red and ir which we feel as heat. Blue isnt good for eyes, uv even worse.

CMH can damage skin as well as well as eyes.

All UV can damage both skin and eyes. A is bad, B is worse, and C is extra bad.

Computer screens have done more to wreck my vision than anything else.
My main monitor is a 43 inch flat screen now, so I can see good, from a few feet away.
I guess the safest type of screen to watch is a projector, because it is indirect light you are looking at... Too late 4 that now, but looking into them anyway.
The safest bet is probably to switch over to work lighting when your in the grow room for very long periods. Eye protection should be fine for limited times.
