I think it was @firsttimeARE that ordered that kit but they subbed phantom ballast for the ceramic science and by the way the ceramic science reminds me too much of a pargrow (except the pargrow has a bright green finish).but at least its not a phantom !

Right On Brother Thank You For The Suggestions However I Don't Recognize Any Of Those And I do have Credit At My Local Shop. So To be Honest Its Not Going To Cost Me 1 Red Dime To Run A Phantom And If It Bites the Big One I Will Take It Back :hump:

Just make sure the ballasr is the revised version, the first ones were square looking, the new design is slimmer and has beveled edges like the original phantom and the de.

wtf happened to the phantom line, really........... their fist gen remote, passive cooled, mh/hps SE e-ballasts where rock solid back in the day...........got the good rep and start cutting corners as usual.

This. What issues would they be having with a ballast that has been in production for a long long time? I'm assuming you're meaning issues with running the new "white hps" hortilux is one day to release.
Do I assume correctly?

Issue Is Firing The Super Blue Hortilux. The Platinum Is Working Fine So Is The Phantoms. So If The Phantom Peter's Out I Can Take it Back

you're running the complimentary super hps on the platinum? Again I'm assuming and thinking you bought the platinum new and it came with complimentary super hps.

I didn't realize the gold series ballast was certified to run the horti blue since it's high frequency.
Blues are meant to be run on the platinum which is LFSW,

No Brother I'm An Led Head Tried And True. I Didn't Buy Any HID Equipment I'm Merely Repeating What I Was Told. I'm Going To Get A 315 CMH Digital Ballast Setup And Run it Against My Old 400 CMH Magnetic Ballast. I'm Doing An Old School Vs New Tech Grow :hump:

Oh Btb I'm An Old school Mh Grower From The 70's In My Book HPS Stands For Hot Piece of Shit :peace:

Oh then you probably know all hps arc tube are actually made of some form of ceramic and hortilux is up to fucking something with this "ceramic hps" bullshit but it's spectrum that they've changed, It's white hps.

Yes Brother I Know What Sintered Aluminum Oxide Is And What It's Used For. I'm Not Here To Debate That Since the 70's Theirs Been A Royal Metric Ton Of Advancements Made to The HPS Bulb. However Just Like My Buddy Your Preaching To A Brick Wall :peace:

Not sure what either of you boys are carrying on about here. I have 2 600W Golds Firing Blue Metal Halides. No issues what so ever. The mostest beatiful photons you have ever seen.
I mean, how would you say this is for 18 days of veg?? :hump:

My vert grow had the same model gold ballast firing up the Blue 600w MH as well without issue..............
