64 cu. ft 1 5lb tank??is that workable if so what the running times according to this calculator? my math so far leaves me at 64cu. ft.* .00013=.0832 now wer wud i go from here to get the rate at witch i shud run that shit ta stay at 1500ppm in that space? +rep for da info

it depends on your cfh rate that you use on your regulator. Also, the calculator is based on you exhausting the air in your room every 3 hours or the air returning to an ambient 200-300ppm every 3 hours. Assuming that you are running your setup at 2cfh, you would have to leave it on for about 2.5 minutes and run it 4 times a day. I'm not sure if the amount of pressure is proportional between a 5 gallon and 20 gallon tank, but the calculator says a 20 gallon tank would last for 87.4 hours at that rate.

ok took a look...87hrsss????thats still only a week..and refillin that fucker at 30 a week plus the cost of the set up minus a monitor will run close to $500 $400 if i bargain shop..in my eye that almost oz street value...will co2 produce more the an once extra??if not then fuk that...ill make wine and pump the o2 in and tap glasses at hervest time over some homade chardonny 1st!!lol

that calculator always gives me the same number for how long a 20# tank lasts. i did it with 12x10 and 12 x 20 same#.the tank always lasts 174.8 hours, must be wrong

How long the tank will last depends on the CFH (cubic feet per hour), the calculator doesn't take into consideration the dimensions of the room because thats not the only variable, you have to know how much co2 your plants are using and how much is leaking out of the grow space and shit like that. You wanna figure out what the least amount of time is that you can be pumping co2 into the space and maintaining 1500 ppm or whatever you're aiming for.
