Of course if your exhausting air out of the room, it is going to take your co2 gas with it and bring in fresh air with your intake.

no not exhausting out of room
filter is inside bloom room whith fan hook on blowing right back into bloom room

does the carbon while cleaning air remove the co2

Just FYI, you are "Scrubbing" - Recirculating through the filter to clean the air. The filter would have to clean at a molecular level to filter out co2.

so if you run a grow room with only a carbon filter recirculating and some co2 supplementation - and lights vented seperately, would it smell inside the rest of a house?

I use a carbon filter in my grow to exhaust air to the outside of the grow room, because it will be smell free, and keep the grow at a negative pressure so no odor leaks are possible.

do you somehow ensure that the grow room is under a slight negative pressure?

if not - are you SURE there is NO smell at all? or is it there, just faintly, all over the house?

I'm about to add co2 and i'm curious...

The better your system is sealed, and the more you clean the air, the less it will stink around the room. Smells do tend to permeate through walls and cielings, so you'll still need to be careful.

i just switch to co2 just switch to 12/12 and turn on co2

it is not in my house so i can not answer your ? for fact

but what i heard is along as your room is sealed and carbon filter recirculating air it should not smell

i have a 70# filter whith 8 "vortex on it so i will keep thred updated

also new grow log new room will be up by tommoro
