it was not a quesion regarding too much co2 it was asking if any co2 gets into the res would it cause issues by suffocating the roots! as you said it will displace oxygen

so you are teaching a class now? dont you know i can just google the answer! like i said this is new to me about bacteria etc. but from what i could gather skimming over that wiki link was it stores light so it can survive without light for periods of time as long as it has had exposure.

Irrelevant because it only takes 1 to choke, whereas 1ppm of co2 didnt cause your problem, but you think your increased levels(which you dont even have) did. So theoretically, if co2 was your problem like you thought, lowering it would fix it. Which would mean it was excess co2 causing the problem. See how simple logic can be? <<<That is arrogant too. At least use the term when its appropriate.

the co2 is not excessive the answer would be to move the pump wouldnt it! that is IF the co2 would cause issues to the roots which i still am not sure if it will

Still waiting on your yes or no answers, and an explanation on how normal co2 levels dont cause problems, higher co2 levels DO cause problems, but excess co2 isnt the problem.

1. You DONT have excessive co2, those setups just dont do it.
2. Assuming #1 weren't true, having problems caused by your co2 setup would mean excess co2 is your problem because lowering it would fix it, right? And if lowering it makes it better, that means the excess amount was the problem, right?
I dont know how many ways to explain that.

i said id read a thread on benes and you said heisenbergs thread not that it matters. for farks sake so i have normal co2 levels even though im producing extra and my growth has boomed since introducing it. Excess is too much right.... my question was if it is getting to the roots will it be a problem so that would imply that it is getting to the wrong place not that there is too much of it! if it was in excess i would simply take a couple of bottles away. you seem to know alot about my environment for the limited info ive given

mate I never said i have excess co2!!!!!! and you are saying "You DONT have excess co2" i think you should read what you type before you hit post! If i had excess co2 my problem would be deficiencies or overgrowth neither of which ive said i had! i was asking if my pump is drawing the "normal" amount of co2 that i have in my room (NOT EXCESSIVE AMOUNT) into the res and around the roots will it cause problems
