co2 cartridge

I was wondering if anyone knew how I could give a co2 boost with a co2 cartridge that is safer than just poking a hole in the tip and letting it go crazy as it releases the co2???..also is a co2 boost best at day,night, or does it not matter???...comments appreciated

yeah they sell co2 guns for freezing things ask around about those becuase people use them for laughing gas

I don't recommend using the BB gun co2 cartridges... there really is not enough C02 in them to make a substantial impact.

okay thanks for your suggestions...i have a 20oz tank of co2 also that I used for a paintball gun..how much co2 would I need to use each time and how often do I do this boost??..since I feel like my plant is a little behind do to probably a lil stress from earlier I wanted to try and get her caught up....thankx for the comments keep Um coming

Get a 2 liter bottle, use a knife to put a 1/8 inch hole in the lid. Pour half full of WARM water, not hot. comfortable to the touch. Put in 1.5 cups of sugar, and 1 packet dry active yeast (availible at any grocery store in the baking section. $1.00 a pack). Let the sugar dissolve before adding yeast. Place cap on bottle, shake it (cover the hole with finger!) and set it ABOVE your plants. CO2 is heavier than air, and it will settle on top of your plants. Lasts about a week. Repeat.

Make sure you have an airtight to semi-airtight room, or it's not worth the effort.

that is a pretty fuckin clever thing to do i work at mcdonalds so i just bought spray bottle and get carbonated water from the tap i can see the difference

You could also make some homemade wine instead of just wasting the yeast sugar and water, then you can get kruncked too!!!!

What type of paintball gun do you have? If your growing room is enclosed its not too hard to set a paintball gun up to just release the CO2. I'm familiar with all makes and models Tippmans, PMs, DMs, Timmys, Spyders, SP, you name it I know it lol.

hi gave the co2 bottle a shot, did as was said but added a piece of silicon tube out of the hole in the lid, sealed it up airtight and have suspended the other end of the tube right above the plants ( level with the top of the biggest). they gonna like that!
