from the research and experience that i have and have been doing, i find that co2 is best used during veg. it seems like during flower i see more growth but not the kind i want. leaf to calyx ratio is greater. any takers?

I'm curious if there is any benefits of the bottle method. Has anyone checked the ppm level created by the old bottle method?

A little extra co2 in the air is better then just the air that is there....oh, duh, I'm an idiot, as I'm typing this, fans have to be off, as to keep the co2 in the grow area, so if they plant(s) uses more CO2 then the bottle creates, you now get lower then desireable PPM, and growth stops oh no!! Better get some CO2 test tubes if your using the 2 liter method. Then again, you could save money by just watching the plant, but the a growth stunting....I'm rambling again...K, I'll shut up...

Is it worth the effort? Seems like alot of work for minimal results.

I have read discussions that some folks se a good 30%+ increase in yield

"I use the poor mans co2. I have no Idea if it is helping the plant. but what the hell"

wich one is that?

there are cheep meters to read the ppm, no big deal for me but rotating 2 liter bottles could be a big pain in the, but ill give it a shot anyone have the ratio?

Fuck.... co2 helps promote elongation, doing this in veg NO GOOD, co2 helps plant finish faster and bulk up alot more. i use it summer months only, during winter the atmosphere stays around 400 not as good as 1500 but 2 extra weeks under the light costs more than finishing fast in as little as 66 days

just buy a Co2 bottle from walmart, in the paintballing supplies, and goto a paintball store or online and buy an on/off valve for Co2 tanks, then you can just use a small bottle with a little valve to let out small amount of Co2 around you plants...
