Hey Guys

Welcome to my little indoor perpetual grow.

I''m just finishing up a first test run in a new flower cab I set up. This was a soil run to feel out the cab, and after I chop I plan to return to hydro and fill the screen....

I had a couple issues late in flower but they have since recovered nicely and they have filled on out, almost there.....
Enjoy the video, any questions or comments welcomed...

Natty

Welcome abroad Kriznarf! Front row...Badass avatar you got there! Whats he so pissed about?
Ha, mostly that my 12/12 from seed experiment isn't going so well. Meh, I shouldn't be too hard on the girls. Must be tough to hit the ground running like that.

Looks like a well built cab you have there. What are the dimensions on that? I have a 3'x3' tent myself. Planning on going with a waterfarm/scrog for my next grow. Should be ready to start on that within a couple weeks. Also, how are you releasing your CO2 into the cab? What are your timings on it and/or ppm? I have a buddy who just picked up a small tank, but we're still figuring out how to best utilize it.

Thanks bro, its a little bigger than your tent. 4' wide but only 3' deep. Waterfarm is a good piece of equipment with a couple mods. 5 gallon DWC is a winner also....I saw your thread, humidity is your issue. What did you do to overcome it?
The regulator is a Hydrofarm for small grows. It was a kit had a timer with it.. Simple set up. I use a couple tubes crammed into the back of the fans, you can see them in the video. There's a nice little calculator on the hydrofarm website... I run at 1500 -1600 ppm in the cab. 15mins on 15mins off all though the light cycle. At the end of 15mins off I'm still at 1300 ppms. Here's the link for the flow calculator http://www.hydrofarm.com/co2calc.php

Ha, thanks for taking a look, even if that thread is getting kind of old. Problem turned out to be that the plants were simply thirsty. While I was first afraid that I had over-watered (or that it was something else,) I later read that incomplete watering (not watering until 20% runoff) can result in soil clumping, which potentially leaves certain root areas dry. This was exactly the case. My previous watering, which I mentioned, wasn't nearly complete. I was low on good water and didn't want to roll with tap water. Thought it was enough, but it hindsight it wasn't nearly adequate. I've since picked up on a water-filter so that I wouldn't get lazy like that again. The girls perked right up a couple hours after a thorough watering.

Awesome, good to hear they pulled though... I know of a grower on another site in the Pacific northwest that got beat down hard by high humidity, mold, root rot, real nightmare....

I'm stoked...the run in the flower cab is done!!!! I'll chop tomorrow!!! Yea!!!!Stash is low...

Hey alotaball, thanks for stopping bye. My first co2 run I did exactly that. I had the same strains, nutes, light, cab, even the same reservoir, everything. The only variable was the co2.

and....Drum roll...............

So look closely on the left is a little piece of wood just sticking out, follow the fan cord to it..

NOW FIND THE PIECE OF WOOD AGAIN.........

Easiest 30% increase I ever had....If you look close the colas are so fat they are falling over...I took the pic on harvest day....

WOW ya looks nice.. I really think it will help my setup too.. another bonus is I can keep my temps at 85 all year with no AC .. so I wouldnt have to battle heat at all with co2. I would like to do a completely sealed room in the future.. but we will see.

Thanks, genetics is a big part of it. I takes a few runs to get a process down that works for you. If you grow in a box expect some surprises..

Haha, hey steeZz thanks, I've seen some fridge grows but somebody has a big screen grow?
That's crazy you gotta show me that one...

Wow summer is my busy season. I haven't had much time for any updates. Everything is still green and I have a few dwc buckets going in the flower cab.

Welcome Franky sorry for the late reply........I'll post some pics soon.....

Alright so here's whats going on at the moment.
I'm at a crossroad in the grow. I have 4 nice strong clones and 4 runts. They have been in the buckets for a week. They are under a 250 MH I'm gonna give them a couple more days then flip to 12/12 and put the 400 back in the cab. I'm gassing the heck out of them and look at'em standing up...I can cull it down to 6 and put up the screen. OR just let them choke the cab full and not put up the screen. I have 2 strong Grape God, one monster Violator Kush and one runt, one big Jack The Ripper and one runt, and 2 small Island Sweet Skunk that are making a good turn around. I'm leaning toward trying all eight and cutting some out later if I have too....

Well thanks for stopping by, let me know what y'all think.........Peace

Looks good Natural!!!.. I have one question.. have you thought of painting or wrapping your buckets .. that way no light gets into them.. I think light promotes algae growth.... Im about to do a little dwc experiment myself in the near future... soon as some mores space clears up in my flower :)

Its direct light and water temps that can ruin your day....I covered the tops with the panda film, and really had to hunt down the white buckets. The white reflects the light back and they stay much much cooler than black buckets. My cab runs a little warm in the summer high 70's low eighties and the white buckets run several degrees cooler....Cool res temps is critical.....If your temps get up then your chasing, ph spikes, as well as the the worst brown slime, I think its some kind of algae and finally rot....and it happens fast....Once you go hydro you wont go back....
