Co2 for clones

will co2 help new clones?

I've never seen anyone use CO2 for clones or veg, only flowering.

I'm no expert, but i would say if you are talking about fresh cut clones, CO2 would not help, you want to grow roots so you need oxygen for the roots. The clone itself would not be growing yet. Once you get the roots grown and you put the clone into soil or other grow media, then the CO2 will help.
So the answer to your question would be no, no while the clone is making roots..
