I have been doing some research on ph controllers for keeping the ph of the res in check. I recently purchased this controller and pump. Blackstone dosing pump from Hanna, I bought it at Farmtek for $135 and a Pinpoint ph controller at Bulkreefsupply for $199. It says it controlles ph up and down, it has 2 power outlets to control devices such as your pumps, one for up and one for down i am guessing. Has anyone every used these products before? Yes I understand this controller was made for large fish tanks but PH is PH, it is still PHing water either way. I went with this controller because i saw it in a 420 mag grow and the person who did the grow said it worked flawlessly and of course the price. Any input would be helpful on this.
