CO2... from seedlings???

Question. When should I start to run CO2? I don't have anything going yet, but I am curious as to when should O2 be started so I can have all the proper gear needed at the right time.

I heard it is good from seedlings, but wouldn't seedlings require less gas since they are smaller in size? Maybe I am just confusing myself.

Thanks

Sounds like you should introduce your co2 once the seedlings reach there veg stage. As a seedling I do not think they get much out of it. The co2 is brought in most from the leaves so I do not see how a seedling could use more than what is already in the air at the time.

I would say once rapid growth of your foliage starts would be a good time to start your co2.

I have also heard people say that it is not worth using in veg. I have seen it work well in veg and will make the plant grow faster.

Where you realy want it is in flowering. It will increase the swell of your buds by up to 20% or so.

* low to mid coz in veg
* high co2 in flowering

Hope this helps. +rep if you think it did.

co2 is not cheap even the cheap shit cost
some start co2 from flower
but first know how many plants are you growing and in what size of a space
some grower dont use co2 at all
they use what is called fresh air intake where you suck air into the growroom threw the plants-
but if your only growing lessthen 4 plants and you plan on keeping them small you dont need co2 you being around them is good enuff exchanging the air in the room works great also

co2 is great for a lot of plants with a lot of dence leaf mater where the plants are consumeing all the avalabe co2 from each other and theres no free exchange of fresh air
a lot of grower that use co2, also grow in a closed grow room (completly sealed) no air leave the grow area or enters it this is a way to trap ordor and keep bugs at bay
