So i finally got a co2 setup, through a trade with a fellow grow buddy....it came with a 20lb tank,005.jpg
PHP:
a regulator 006.jpgand the line that disperses the co2...007.jpg
ive never ran co2 before, so i have a couple questions that i need help with....
1. Is this a complete setup, or do i need some more accessories?
2. On the end of the hose that he gave me is a plastic fitting...this is the only place for the co2 to disperse through....should i have more outlets through-out the line or is 1 nozzle enough??
3. How do i know how many ppm's im running and how do i adjust?
4. what is a general on/off schedule for the co2??15min on, 45min off, every hour on the hour during lights on?
5. is this worth buying? do they work?http://www.hydrofarm.com/pb_detail.php?itemid=7108

any help would be awesome..the dude i got it from wasnt running it correctly, and i think he was basically pissing in the wind the way he was using it....
I am NOT going to use this until i feel that i have it down pretty solid....thanks...Ganja

i elected to not try for CO2 because I am using fresh air to cool my room. I think the use of CO2 requires a very well sealed room or you just suck it out through the exhaust. Correct me if im wrong. This means to me that you should have all of your ducting/cooling/scrubbing down well and sealed really well in order to get the most out of your CO2.

my room is a sealed room....and i know that you shut ur exhaust off, while running you co2, so as not to suck it all out....

Also run it during daylight hour to help with photosynthesis. A monitor, eBay, will give you PPM's. Shoot for 1500
You can get controllers and timers but you don't have to
