"Hi 3x3 the V18 5 cob with 1 x1750k and 4 x4000k Vero18. $350 For $600 you can get a 10 cob Vero 18 array with 5 x1750k and 5 x4000k. It has two power cords so you can use sunrise sunset simulation with the deep red 1750k For 600 I can build you a 4 cob Vero 29 system. The 10 cob is obviously the best deal."

3x3 is in regards to the tent I'd probably use, possibly bigger. Canadian dollars so no exchange rate.. Thoughts?

" It runs on 2 hlg-120h-c1050b drivers. 150w per driver. 1050 is max current for the Vero 18."

I'm not up to date with veros . But 5 of them @1050ma in a 3x3 wont be much light.

Rather than give poor advice I will shout out @CobKits , he knows much more about all the different chips and will be able to tell if either of those set ups are worth that and more importantly if they are going to light up a 3x3 well enough.

Vero 18s can handle MUCH more than 1050 current, that's their nominal test current.
I run 6 Vero 18s at 1A (Buck drivers) in a 2x2 class cabinet and it's adequate but low side.

Otherwise go with any of the fine vendors that make lights designed to cover your space,
there are enough of them around here if you can get their attention.

Are you dealing with Par Horta? James is the only dealer I know of in Canada doing vero builds and he's dope. If so, workmanship is solid, around 2 dollars a watt CAD with no import and cheap shipping is best you'll find our side of the border unless you diy.
The vero 18s are only 130 lm/w but you would still get a killer spread and solid penetration with 10, wide spectrum and the sunrise/sunset, 600 is a good deal forsure.
I would probably go for the 4 v29s though that would still smash a 3X3 and with higher efficiency, but that's a tough call.

If offered the choice go for the Vero 29s even the older generation kick ass.
You will pay twice as much but only need half as many, but there's more heat
to deal with, etc...

Vero 18 - Cheap so use a lot of them...
Vero 29 - Run harder and brighter...
Citizen 1212 - Cheap as Vero 18, much closer to Vero 29 in performance.

Yes sir. He's the man. Going with the 5 cob in a 2.5x2.5 or 3x3 easily upgraded to a 10 in the future but he's shown me some test grows with the 5 cob Vero 18 and I was quite impressed.
