Hey guys, don't mean to be a jackass to you or your thread. Just want everyone to know that NH products are all Chinese knock-off crap. I have a problem with their gamma blaster, and seeds, as well as several friends of mine who bought seed. If you complain they ban you. If you anger them, they send their Nuke Strike team after you to scare you into leaving them a lone, hoping you go away. Anyways, to make a long story shorter. There are many folks that have been done horrible by these people, including myself. I have the PAR meter and its ok, but not near the numbers that my Apogee 550 is getting, and it doesn't read some light as well as others, and I think this is the problem. There needs to be a cup of shame for these cannibas con men ready to pounce on new growers. It is up to us to let folks know, and not support this behavior, so here I am. Happy Friday all.

Nuke Heads business strategy is to target noobs with no idea what they are doing. Talk about their product like it's heaven sent, and con you into buying one of their Alibaba lights. They do not want anyone in their group with real world knowledge.

It is a shame but i too have gotten scammed from them over their so called seeds. Could not get one dam seed to open. And if it did it stopped at about half way. Then when you inquire about it they get pissed like it’s your fault that it didn’t open. Sorry but I’ve been germinateing seeds before Cody’s ass was born. I know what I’m doing. So go ahead and insult me like you did when i asked about them. Next thing i noticed was i was banned from their group.Plenty other groups out there that care! Not NukeHeads though!!!

Ebay, crappy Hydrofarm, but saving up for Cody's PAR meter from Nukeheads. Its used, so no big loss if its crap, but in the meantime, Ill give this a try,
Good Luck with Nukeheads hope it ain`t like their crapy seeds that they sell. Oh and if you do have a problem with it be prepaired for them to ban you from their site. They do not like complaints!!

I have a 300W vero29C SE 3000k 90 CRI fixture that I have used for two grows and I just bought a QB288 3500k 80 CRI.

I really like the Vero29 kit but the simplicity and the lower price of the QB is making it much more attractive.

Hi, all you good growers I bought a 4 Cob 450-watt grow light. Now I am expanding again but I am conscious of the heat I am creating I am now looking at the HLG lights of late to the HLG 100 Quantum Board LED Grow Lamp Veg & Bloom 4000K or the A HLG 100 Quantum Board LED Grow Lamp Veg & Bloom 3000K which would be better for both veg and bloom? I appreciate any help on this subject I am almost at my second start of my grow I upgraded my filters to a high-quality unit 8" x 24". Now, this would be the 3rd light so heat might be an issue. Thanks for any help in advance.

To reduce heat, use less watts. To get the needed amount of light with less watts, use more efficient/effective lights. The newer V2 lights from HLG are more efficient than previous versions. Running LEDs "softer" is more efficient, two LED at 50w is more efficient than one at 100W. What is that 4 cob light and what are your grow space dimensions? More info gets you better answers. I think 3000k is better for veg and flower. For veg only, maybe 4000K.

Hi 1212ham, Thank you for that information. I am slowly building the room out its space is 10' x 11' The grow light I am looking at is the V2's board currently. Thank you for the softer wattage knowledge, would you think the HLG 65-watt board would be even better than the HLG 100-watts ones? I currently have a ViparSpectra model V600 it claims to be 600watts but seems to be 269watts it has two grow lights in one is veg the other bloom. I bought the 4 Cob light Hipargero HG450 which is actually a 200Watt draw those two running my Fl house AC keeps up on and the temps are fine but I want to reduce watts and heat starting on my 3rd light and eventually, I would want to replace those two over time with less heat that uses no fans and less wattage. I do this all for my wife with MS and me with a bad back and tailbone & hips it works. One day I will attempt to make a cob system but I have a ton to go into learning yet.

You've got a lot of space.. for a little under 250 you could get a couple 288 V2 panels and diy. You can get a lot of help around here to do that or even find one of these folks to piece one together.. A lot of talented brothers around these parts!

Nukehead? I haven't heard that name in a while. Yeah, that dude is a chuckle-head. Some of the claims he makes is laughable. Once he tried saying all his strains are 'certified' through the state(Colorado) Dude wouldn't get 1 cent from me. Hate liars...

Just a fare warning bro, Nukeheads Suk! I would not buy a thing off of Codys lying ass. If it goes bad good luck trying to get even a responce from them. They will blame it on you and then delete you from their group. I can attest to that with at least a dozen people who have had bad dealings with them. Again STAY AWAY FROM NUKEHEADS!!!!

Yup.

Any thoughts on the Nukeheads?
Yes take my advice and stay as far away from them as possible! Very bad business practices. There are plenty of other groups out there that really care about you, not these scammers!! I personally got scammed from them to the tune of 280.00 bucks on their so called seeds. Could not get one to even germinate. And above all they said it was my fault and the ink on the paper towel could have caused it. Really?? So do yourselfs a favor and do not deal with these people!! Try BrotherHood Of Dank, or Safehouse exotic bird seeds groups. They will take care of you!!

Please stay away from NukeHeads, they will scam the hell out of you. Nice at first but as soon as you give them a complaint your history. I know many people who have been scammed from them!

That's a big space cheapest way to get the most output is to use a QB96 from hlg they can run at 300w with a small PC fan for cooling if you just did a 4x8 table in the middle of the room you could get away with using 4 boards so your looking at like $800 in lights if you diy. If you don't diy it would be $1600-2k for a 4x8
