So ya in a softwater area? Taps beIng low ppm youll obviously need it lol, im in a hardwater area so epsom does me just fineEveryones tap water is different as well, mine comes out very low. I've definitely found it necessary to add it once every other week.
Yea thats what i was said, not everyones tap comes out the same. Mine comes out real low, he should check his ppm of his tap first because it may be low as well and require both calcium and magnesium. For mag defociencies, adding calcium locks out the mag even more, only use calmag if your using a ro system, other wise use epsom salts for just the magnesium as tapwater has all the calcium plants need
Yup, sulfur deficiency isn't that uncommon either...Just gonna say, epsom salts is magnesium sulphate, its a naturally occurring substance, water soluble and they love it in small doses
In coco it is definitely worth buying cal/mag, as coco holds nutrients such as calcium. No need to waste $$$ on calmag, you only need it if your using ro, its the mag they crave, theres enough calcium in tapwater for them, epsom salts is pennys, why throw ya money 2 the people in the grow shop. Its a con.
Not trying to be a dick but if you want to be a good grower and take this seriously, then you'll have to brush up on your reading. Cheers and it is the very first post of this thread from the link I already posted.Soooo mag deficiency?
