Coco; feed every watering??

First time in coco, (Botanicare cocogro). Useing cocos a & b , roots excelleator, multi zen and drip clean. Should I be feeding nutrients every single watering? Or should I perhaps do a FEED-FEED-ALL WATER-FEED-FEED, and so on? I'm about 3 weeks from seed.

you should have a feeding schedule that adheres to weekly nutrient values

Yes always feed @ low e.c.and most important DTW...don't let the coco loose more than 50% of its weight after watering.I have been in coco using H&G for many years with great results.good luck

Yup feed every time ,you should always have some cal-mag around coco tends to hold on to cal-mag even potassium and won't make it available until the cation exchange capacity is at max ,now thats a very simple way of explaining it do some research you will find it real quick. I feed every time some people do exactly what you thought feed,feed,water,feed,feed... but I just alternate between kelp and amino's on the plain water day to help prevent from leaching all the cal-mag out.

Oh yea are you hand watering or using drip system?

I would definitely use a drip system. Plus with coco smaller pots with multiple daily feedings at low strength is way better. I didn't believe smaller pots was better until I tried it. It also saves money on coco as well. Check out this coco thread it really explains a lot and I have been using it as reference for my grow.

also as cali green said .. Definitely have cal mag on hand. You don't want to get signs of an early calcium and magnesium deficiency and not have it around. I currently use it at about .5 ec in my feed. It is actually getting quite expensive and I am looking into making some diy cal mag from calcium nitrate and magenesium nitrate. I just need the proper ratios.

I like multiple feeds per light cycle via basket drip stakes also. Problem is, when I rock that type of setup, it's usually 16- 1gal mesh bottom pots per 4X4 tray/1000w light. Kicks ass yes!
Problem is, if you got 20 lights, well, do the math and thats a lot of plants.
I grow trees also in 5 or 7gal pots and kill it also.
I prefer a coco blend(30% perlite) in either setup.
I feed everytime to about a 20% run-off. Usually at 1.6-1.7 EC. I've been doing this since coco came out as a medium for us.

Bro you feed every watering in an inert medium with run off.
