the story behind mine is pretty cool...
a good friend of mine ran into BOG at an outdoor festival in norcal about 2 years ago. BOG handed him 4 beans and said "best pot you will ever smoke"... said it was SourDieselxSourBubbleBX3.

my friend popped 2 of them... one of the plants was tall and lanky... then there was the plant we found to be "The One". He's recently popped the remaining 2... if theres a male its coming home to poppa and I am gonna see what he's capable of...

I would love to find out from BOG if he ever did throw some SD pollen at his SB... that would be rad. Becasue I doubt he's gonna remember passing a dude at a festival 4 beans you know how many times has he probably done that lol!

Thats crazy..
But if you understand whatbx3 means right if you crossed it again it would become bx4 (more of the sd pheno's..)

I would pefer it be bx3bg x sd..
Only because I have grown both sd and bb, and bubblegum is one of the best on the market hands down..The taste is unforgetable..
And bubblegum growth rate is out of this world...

thats a very hard question..

set-up, lights, air, humidity, temp, kind of coco your using, hydro-drip-dwc-aero-food and drain..
veg or flower?
veg every other day in my case sometimes twice a day..

The only way that 100% sure is automatic systems or by lifting the plants and tell how much water they have by how heavy they are

some shiva skunk and the church. (not a cross 2 separate strains) 3weeks into flower with canna aqua a and b, rhizo, cannazyme, pk13/14, superthrive and just started overdrive this week.

i have some rally cool pics of the latest bactch.. all kinds of pretty golds & reds.

hey ganjaman27 you i've done a few crops ebb n flow with mesh pots full of nothing but coir - works fine.
get some high grade coco (canna or bcuzz), some good coco nutes (i like canna), and start dosing the plants at 50% recommended strength. If they can take more, give them more. coco is easy. soo easy you can overthink it and make it really hard.

I hand water on a 3.5 by 6.5 tray that drains into a res...
I have all the equipment for a drip or flood.. and a couple of dwc buckets but
I decided It would be best for me to handwater this run because I am running about 12 different strains and some drink more then others...

I am running just coco..

But understand their are many different grades of coco as I discussed in the first post...

Some hold more water then others..

I like thick chunks but some like the thinner stuff because it holds more water, The thinner stuff is easier to grow in, But I can produce larger buds from the thicker stuff because I have more control..

But you can also layer your coco which works best hands down..




So you need to find your balance

:-PI love the thread. I have been growing in coco for a few years now and have been using ph levels anywhere from 6-7. I am definately going to drop it to 5.5 now seeing the results you guys have. I am always trying to adjust my nute levels thinking that they are the root of the problems but Im pretty sure it is the ph, never knew it was supposed to be so low. Thanks again for the great info. Also, is there a place to get the S1 on the net?

that my biggest fear... being stoned out of my gord tending my plants and BAM theres a rattler....

scary shit!
its cool you're coming across all nonchalant about it but i'd be fucking freaked yo!

ive got a big expandable bale of cononut coir fiber friom Down to earth distributors. And im using Hydro nutrients from a a private hydro store owner...kinda..thing...who makes his own nutes but ive never used them so i dont really know how they will work. My lil babies are about 2 weeks old and look like their doing good but i feel like their kind of small...

All 3 look exactly like the ones in the picture ( random google picture)
after 2 weeks..

any recommendations on what i could do to increase thier growth?
im using one 23watt cfl about 2 inches about then plants in small planters, spray watering with some nute water(very very low amounts) 24hr light period...not a steady fan but sporadic...like a heater fan thing far away from it when it gets to cold.

remember guys this is my first grow and havent spent a penny on materials yet just some bag seeds i decided to germinate and plant

Very nice but I see some fully mature plants in the back ground under a hps...

I'd say your doing everything right.. Not alot you want to do to hurry this growth period up...
just let it grow...

dude get yourself at least a 250w hps and put that over the plants 24/7. you won't have heat issues and you won't have to get a heater becasue the 250 won't get that hot. the one time investmet will pay you in full + at your first harvest.... then theres the second and third and fourth grows you can do with it...

trust me....
