yyyyeeess mate liking the white whidow, got that going at the min too, got mine from seed (Nirvana) , bought 10 but only 2 were fucking female lol
Looks very similar bud formation, will post some more pics later , got to sort this yellowing leaf spotting thing tho, yours are lookin very green , vibrant and healthy. I like.
What nutes and additives you on lad? Plus do you use RO water or tap? question time hehe
 
i use cyco products as im in aust and they are aust company
but all i use is is there coco aand there platinum range of a/b for veg and flower and this time round i have been adding 1ml per ltr of the dr once every 2 weeks as they changed there feed sheets and said to give it at 2ml per ltr now with all feeds but its expensive so i thought id try a lower regular dose
i also use superthrive in seed/clone and veg mode. 1 drop in a ltr to 1.5 ltr water
and i use oxy plus (hydrogen peroxide 50%) got it from hydro store at 2ml per litre every 3 days
i hand water in veg stage then when main cupboard ready i put them on an auto feed recycling system they get feed 4 times a day for 2mins
they seem to luv the changes i made from first time round as ive had no probs with yellowing brown spots etc
the ice kush is a lil smaller this time round but its sharing the grow space with the ww this time so i figure thats why its a lil bit smaller plus i think my first grow vegged a week or 2 longer

Sounds like you run a tight ship as it were.... i just hand water all the way through , havent got round to setting up a dripper system yet but by the looks of things its certainly producing results for you.
I suppose the downside to handwatering is that they only get watered when i can be arsed to do it, and when they actually need it of course.. However it is still irregular compared to drip feed. This is my first shot at coco and so far its all good, its amazing what u can do in coco with small pots , il get a picture of this NL lady that we couldnt re-pot with the others so it remained in a small pot but its almost as big as the others!!! good for limited space.
Im just going to see how flushing at 10% goes but i want to make sure its not a deficiency cos then flushing will further exacerbate the issue. i suppose its all a learning curve...
Any chance of seeing the pics of ur dripper system, or just post link or whatever
Hope all is well where you are in OZ , according to the news you guys are getting a right hammering, and to think we go all crazy over a few inches of snow here in pommie-ville.
 
luckily im not up queensland they are getting hammered at the moment first floods now a cyclone
im not actually using a drip system this time round what ive done is used 13mm tubing and it goes from the pump in the res up through 13mm hole i put in the pots as close to the rim as i could across the middle or as close as i can and out the other side then across and same on next pot then i put a stopper in the 13mm line
then i have made 4 holes along the tube in each pot and inserted 4mm tubbing what ever length needed for where i wanted each one to flood then it just drains back into the res via 19mm tubing inserted into the base pots
ill try get photos l8r as the lights have gone off for now

i honestly think u got a defiecency not nute burn but im sure others will speak up that no more than me most my knowledge at the moment is from research and what ive seen others do
 
yes well i have tried to be as careful as poss with the nutes , only recently started giving them 75%, built up gradually 10/25/50/75% so maybe i havent given enough or something. Either way its going well apart from the leaf prob, bud is coming on nicely. (altho not as fast as it would with no yellowing etc)
So do you reuse your run off?
 
yes we have been under water restrications for yrs now so i was try to save as much as possible

and yeah they could just need more nutes after you saying that and looking again id go to full str the plant maybe sucking goodness out of the leaves but again som1 with more experience would be best to answer this
 
Hi all coco nuts, im doin a week flush when my girls ready(5wkish) and i was just wonderin hows the best to go about it in coco?
Im not re-usin my coco
Im in a 11L pots
She's drinking 2.5L a day

Do i still keep waterin the 2.5L a day of my flush water?..... And then water with 3x my pot size 33L the last day...or last 2?.......or 33L everyday for the week?

Any help and tips would be great cheers

Mcnulty- i use lucas formula with my coco and it needs added epsom salts and i dont see any problems with it. so i dont think your problem is salt build up especially if you started a flush. i think your problem is not enough nutes cause you said you went from only 50% to 10%. why werent you at the 100%? that yellowing seems to be lightening of the leaves as if the plant is using up its last resources stored in the fan leaves. i would def say its not a nute burn more of a deficiency. try adding some Micros haha as good ole DST would say.

its nothing fancy but it works i would have used the water rings like the one i used on my first grow but i went down a size in pots and the water rings were a lil big so this is what i came up with and they like it lol

We really need a sub forum if a person has a coco question he has to weed through 196 pages "( ...during the first coco flush should i use cal/mag if so how much per gallon???

Sorry its taken a while to reply mate, cheers for the heads up, i defo think thats the issue now so im going to resume with 70 % then 100 posssibly.... call me a pussy but i dont want to burn these bitches hehe but yeah ill try uppin the nutes as i have no other option really. Ive got epsolm salts so ill put a teeny tiny bit in like 1 tsp per 2 litre , cant hurt to try right?
otherwise tho i have been pre occupied with a cheeky dwc clone area , got a bud box with a DWC converted Tupperware box with 20 clones and a DWC icecream tub with 2 mothers living in it. they root so much faster doin it dwc style, its amazing. fully recommended.

Thats a sweet, hassle free looking set up there odlaw. will be giving that method a go soon as Im getting tired of lugging water from one place to another.
So what are you thinking of growing next mate, bet you can get all kinds of crazy strains in oz . if i had to recommend one it would be greenhouse seeds super lemon haze, not high yields but seriously pukka bud if you know what i mean hehe
 
yeah its pretty simple and easy to maintain i have arthritis so the less work the better for me lol
strains aint that easy to come by in oz man a friend has some slh hes last batch went moldy and i made some honey oil for him it was fucking sensational lol
i got a g13 labs fem pineapple express seed and a paradise seeds fem ice cream to pop but i need to make room and build a small mother area as i want to keep the ice kush and i only got room for 2 plants and 2 babys at moment
figured if i got the mother home built i could keep 4 strains and grow 2 strains at a time
might even just buy one of those .5mtr tall tents should be ok for a couple bonsia mothers lol

Not true. Cocoa mulch/whatever will kill dogs. Coco(nut) husk/fiber what have you..., will not. Cocoa is the leftover from cocoa beans, which chocolate comes from, not coco, from coconuts.

Epsom salts are best applied as a foliar spray, given through feedings it would take to too long to fix the issue. Just spray your leaves only, don't get the buds wet. Mix a tsp/gal of water. But I don't think Mag is your problem, it could be a little calcium, but almost looks like overwatering to me. Can you include a few pics of the very top of your plant as well? It's hard to say if it's calcium without seeing the top.
 
Just wanted to share my current Coco Grow using an Ebb & Flo set-up. Here's 1 week in 12/12 and these guys are freaking out. I use Boatnicare CNS17 for Coco Nutes. I've used it for 2 grows and they've worked fine. No complaints. Anyways ways here's da pic.

no problem at all for taking time to respond. sounds like your plants should finish nice and healthy. i dont think you will be able to return the big fan leaves to perfect health so just make sure all new growth if fresh and dark green. if you dont need added epsom salts then dont add them. for the lucas formula its low in the Mg area or something and the salts help get it to the ideal level. i only use a gram per gallon im not sure how much a tsp is but it may be too much. sounds good on the DWC cloner!
 
I've seen a few Australian guys in here, is Nutrifield an Australian company ? I'm planning on using Nutrifields Coco nutes on my next grow, has anyone used them ? If so, let me know if it's any good.
