I have done hydro systems of many types I have done orrganics in soil, I have done synthetics in soil. Now I just built a new room got a bunch of nbew palnts and am trying to do synthetics with coco. SPecifically the coco specific Advnanced nutrients sensi grow products.
I am using an RO water source and the specific coco i am using is botanicare, "aeration" with hydrpotun on teh bottom inch or two of 5 gal and 7 gal smart pots. I am trying to recreat a hyro environment for plant speed growth but while still having my pots on teh ground and hand watering.
Problem, plants look stresssed and under fed, or nute locked and over fed. Lime green with purple stems adn some leaf nucrosis.
What PPM should I be using for this grow(hyro? or soil? soil being 600 in veg vs hydro about 900 in veg)? what PH is best for coco? Any other tips to help me through this? I know they neeed more cal mag than normal, I have been giving them as recomended. also how often should I be feeding? ion hydro every watering is food in soil I would only feed once a week or less.
Im pretty fusterated watching my pants linger and suffer. they were all doing great in 6inch rock wool cubes and now that they are in thier pots they are slowly dying on me.
