Just got one and has a coco top you fillin with the hydrotron.Whats the reasoning for the Coco?Washed pelletts three times till drined clear,the filled 120ppm checked this A.M. was over 900ppm,is this coming from the damn coco,i have added nothing?
 
I don't like to mix coco with hydroton. It's one or the other for me. And the ppm is mostlikely from the hydroton. I soak mine for 24 hours stiring with hand hard about every hour. New water and clean. Repeat and repeat till clean. If your not using ph water it would be a good idea to reset the ph to 5.8 and let soak a few hours. It's a pain but that's what I like. Also when I have the time I'll run the system for 24 hours. Watching the ppm go up. Maybe 120 ppm I use 10ppm RO water so that's not much for me. After the first run ppm won't change.
 
KK thanks,i new to let sit for 24hrs damn,been a long time since doing hydro.The coco is a damn lid so id have to make some changes to just use hydrotron.Changed again but fell asleep at 4pm and slept till now took a couple pills as i was hurting real bad yesterday.Raced MX for 15yrs and all the Wrecks and bones i have broken are killing me.
