Coconut water and/or Molasses.

I use Blue Planet Organic High Yield. Their feeding chart takes all the guess work out of it. I use the two gallon sprayers (without the sprayer attachment on it) to make the mix. Their chart is by the gallon. Double it up for each sprayer and one sprayer will feed four plants. My plants love their system. I think the biggest difference was when I added the liquid seaweed. The flavor and the strength of their stalks was incredible.

Check it out:

I have been using that system for years and have had nothing but great results. The craziest Super Lemon Haze I have ever grown was on just their nutes. I used the same soil recipe I outlined earlier.

I can tell you that the coconut water is indeed a great addition to your grows. I use it because of its cal/mag content. I try to use only natural products and the coconut water is key in my grows. I also use molasses but only for feeding my bennies.

So, I cut a tray of clones and soaked the pucks in the coco-water to begin with, I am also using the coco-water in the spray bottle. Let's see how fast they will root. I cut them on Thursday night.

are we talking like legit just straight up coconut water you buy at the grocery store? and does it benefit more in veg or flower or is it good all around for the girls?

I bought pure coconut water from the grocery store in about a liter carton. It is not from concentrate and 100% juice. That is what you need to look for. Or, you can try to find the evaporated powdered form and mix it yourself.

Yuu don't just pour in molasses to the dirt. First, you dissolve the molasses in a small container of warm water (it is easier with warm water). Then, you mix it in with the rest of the water before you give them a drink.

you want fresh coconut water. Bottled coconut water is watered down. Should be added at a 15:1 ratio. With fresh you will get far more enzymes too. Plus the sugars and trace minerals. Fresh is 1/4 cup to 5 gal. Or you can go with seed sprout teas which is cheaper than coco water. Produces even more enzymes than coco water.

Bottled coconut water, if it 100% juice and not from concentrate, can not be watered down. 2oz. per gallon is the mixture I would recommend. There is a difference between coconut water and coconut milk, Pay attention to that as you want to make sure you get water.

They're not really 100% real coconut. Most even that say 100% coconut juice are made from reconstituted concentrate. They cook it down to a syrup. Its cheaper and easier to ship. Then they add water. If they use mature coconuts they add sweeteners to hide the acidic taste. All bottled coconut juice is heat pasturized to preserve it. Coconut water should always be kept refrigerated. Fresh coconut water goes bad pretty fast. Trader joes brand is not from concentrate but it is heat pasturized and they add citric acid. Some companies even dip the coconuts in formaldehyde to preserve them too.

You want fresh young coconuts. Poke hole and drain the water or you can order coconut powder from build a soil.

Seriously? 100% juice not from concentrate is just that. I use this stuff called Vita Coco. It is pure coco water, all natural, and a hell of a lot easier than drilling holes in coconuts.

vita coco is not from concentrate but it is heat pasturized and they add citric acid, fruit sugar flavoring, and vitamin c. It even says that on the label. Vita coco is not 100% coconut juice at all. All coconut seeds ( where everything comes from) when taken out of the outer shell. There are naturally 3 holes like a bowling ball. its sealed but very thin. you can poke a hole with a screw driver really easily.

I do seed sprout teas instead. its cheaper and easier. More beneficial

You are referring to the flavored versions of Vitacoco. The pasturization is to eliminate bacteria so it will store longer. What is it exactly that you are trying to convince me of, or are you just trying to trash talk something with convoluted facts to back it up your opinion? My plants love it. Other growers have experienced the same results. If you want to contribute to the discussion about my thread, please do. If not, move along.

I'm not trying to convince you of anything. I'm educating you. You don't want to feed your plants citric acid and preservatives. Pasteurizing kills off beneficial bacteria and enzymes. Those enzymes are the whole point of using coconut water. In the world of organics. Coconut water is an alternative to seed sprout enzyme teas, using barley seed, or corn seed or alfalfa seed, or pumpkin seed or mung beans, etc....

I'm sorry if the truth about the bottled crap you use challenges your beliefs and you feel insulted instead of taking the facts for what they are.

coconut water is very good for plants. But that bottled shit isn't. You want those enzymes but bottled coconut water doesn't have them..

now seed sprout teas. You can get very cheap. 1/4 cup of seeds to 5 gal tea. I use mung beans I get them for $1.99 a lb. 1/4 cup is 2 oz.

soak seeds for 10 hours, rinse rest on a damp towel for 10 hours repeat both steps. The puree and add to water. Brew for less than 4 hours and no more. Now you have your tea full of enzymes, sugars and trace minerals. More than coconut water. When the seed sprouts the endosperm releases all kinds of enzymes and sugars.

now if you want coconut water. The choices are fresh coconuts or coconut powder. No bottled coconut water.

you can take the knowledge or not no sweat off my back.
