ive seen some kush pics before, and i might be wrong, but my flowers seem to resemble kush characteristics? I dunno how to describe, but it appears like a kush strain! a buddy of mine picked up some north texas kush, if there is such a thing cuz ive never heard of it, but he gave me a seed from his buy!! dope! i smoked some of the batch where the seed came from, and its a keeper! he sees that im growing and is thrilled so I might have me a customer now, lolllolol >

Your girl is looking good mike, just be patient, she'll start giving of smells soon, and you can get a better judge of what she may be... I wouldnt prune any more, she should be fine, now just kick back and watch her grow
yea man, thats what am doin, her leaves in general are always touchin the cfls tho no matter how far back i tie the branches or bend them back and its like GRRRRRRRR she does have a slight smell already, i brushed a flower and it was like turn your head away strong, I want to say it reminds me of green crack, i dunno...

lol @ the greencrack!! man normajane has all the room she needs now!!!! i just cleaned out my WHOLEEE closet, lol, now shes on the floor in her bucket, i can raise and lower the lights, she has like 5 more ft of height(if she needs it), she has more branch out room!! im STOKED BRAAHHH!!! im waiting man im waiting!! I have patience forever! just a lot of questions is all!! haha

income tax time!! but still on a budget! haha currently im vegging under 6x6500k(seperate box) and increase to 8 when plant is about 4 in and flowering under 6x2700k and 2x6500k cfl bulbs(closet), obviously no problems at all thus far, but now i want to upgrade my lighting, ive seen on ebay the kits for 150-1000 watt, and since im going to stay within my closet 6ftx12 space, between the 150watt and 250watt, which is better? my plants will never exceed more than 2, so im thinking about purchasing the 250watt HPS/MH setup..what do u yall advise?? 250 would be 3x3 area which is about the area my plant is currently flowering in but its also under weak lighting...and a 150watt covers 2x2...its a small closet width wise about 2x2 so is the 150watt setup better than the 250?? i just need a better light and im set! my grow lab is setup thank to normjane makin me clean out my closet..reminds me of the song "rick james IM IN LOVE WITH MARYJANE, SHES MY MAIN THING" haha

Imo, as long as you get some small fans from walmart with a cooltube for your light you should go 400w. An inline fan wouldn't hurt either, but as long as you leave the doors open while lights on, your good to go. Here's what's cooling my 400w...does a pretty nice job. My canopy is about 12-16 inches away.

With the tent open and lights on, my tent temp is somewhere around 2-3*F above ambient temp. At the canopy it's probably about 5 more than ambient, but that's just because my shortest plant is in the middle, and her step stools are taking up most of the circulation space. It's really not bad at all. I have had some plants as close as 6" from the bulb (touching the cool tube) and not had a problem. Heat was never a problem, light intensity was though
lol. i might be able to get away with light, my windows are blocked out and the closet has a cardboard that surrounds the light so leak is not too bad, but im also not pushing 400watts..haha! so i measured my closet I want to say 400 would be too much,..my closet setup is this: i have a uhaul clothes box inside that is 2 plants and a ballast with 6x cfl 6500 bulbs for veg, outside hanging from the rack is another ballast with 6x 2700 and 2 6500 which is for flowering where normajane is...well wait nevermind, i might just convince myself to get the 400watt and throw some fans in..i can just rid of the veg box once normas done flowering..THEN ill see about a light purchase!! damn my mind is spinning gears right now lol ;xWith the tent open and lights on, my tent temp is somewhere around 2-3*F above ambient temp. Man if you're growing in a uhaul box, I'd stick to CFL's....Even if you were able to cool it off enough, it still probably wouldn't be the greatest idea. If anything I would go higher than a 150w. That will atleast get you an ounce to an ounce and a half off of 1 plant. Hell if you get a 150w CMH and scrog it, I've seen some people get 3 zips off of 2 plants.
thats what im saying, after my big plant is done, im going to take out the uhaul box and see about a bigger light since i have that much more room now, I enjoy the cfls uve seen the pics of my plant, look how huge she is, and thats ALL cfl...sooo..im thinking the 400 is too much, but too much is never enough..ya know..? I do have a small closet.. so thats where i was looking to buy maybe a 250watt HPS/MH setup its brighter than the cfls...... yield im not really looking for, well sorta, but its more of a progress time with brighter lights, or am i wrong?...
my plant is going to finish not on time, all the flowers that are near the tops(by the light) are in full gear, the ones beneath have no trich development, this is going to throw me off, yes the tops will be ready sooner than the bottom...what to do? if the tops do finish, can i just harvest whats ready and wait for the rest to catch up?
