Does a cola refer to the top of a marijauna plant, buds or not? Or does it refer only to the large chunk of buds that eventually form at the top?

For example, if I had a plant still in veg, would it make since to say "The cola is reaching close to the light"?

I think I know what you are asking. IMO a plant can have many cola's. I would say "check out the main cola" if I was talking about the large one at the top... LOL

i am the other person in the dispute and honestly im new so i dont know anything better im just speaking of what i heard, and im glad inneedofbuds made this poll so itll be more clear but i understand what your argument holds, and i dont see any reason to get all defensive. thanks inneedofbuds

someone must know the real answer to this question not just what you think come on lads what is it cause i ain't got a clue

and i would hardly call it a dispute its a minor misunderstanding lads

I would say without any buds it cant really be called a cola. It is just the main growth shoot during veg. Once it starts packing on bud it can rightfully be called a cola. I have never really heard a person refer to the top of a vegging plant as a cola. Just my opinion but I think most people would agree. I cant imagine anyone looking at a plant a month into veg and saying; " wow look at the sweet cola on that plant" lol.
