Colas development

Are the colas on the left developing ok? They have stretched because wasnt topped as much the right plant, will they pack on weight do I need to leaf strip again I'm on day 31 of flower

My 2c as a newbie but they should all fill out from here on in from how my grow has gone, youll be looking at a good harvest all going to plan. I would let them swell more and then you might decide if you need to defol more in another week or so. Nice job

2 600w hps, from what ive read will be a pretty poor yeild per watt type buzz but next time will do a scrog and try utilize the area more

Day 31 of 12/12? They look fine to me. What size space are you running, with hps you'd want to aim for 50 or 60w per sq/ft.

I run around 47+/- watts per with quantums and supplemental lighting. Scrog is definitely the way to go especially for perpetual. I currently have 33 plant SoG ScroG

Cgeers, Those pictures were at day 40 i think from 12/12, uh its a 1.5m x 1.5m x 2m, not sure what they pull from the wall i through out the box.

It's about 5x5 in feet if I'm not mistaken. That's about 48w per sq/ft. It's not bad, can do better. If it's for personal, I wouldn't worry too much. Yield would be great in a 1.2m x 1.2m tho

Okay cool, is there a supplemental light i could look at im future that gives off minimal heat?

Uh we are coming into summer where i live and my thoughts were i wanted a 10degree celcius difference when lights are off but have had a warmer start to summer than usual, ive got my lights on during the day which maxs out at 28degrees celcius with night time(lights off) of anywhere between 15-18 degrees celcius. Made a few errors along the way like watering with pretty cold water straight off my tap(id say water would be 8-10degrees out of tap). Would be really keen to hear how my space could be maximized in soil, really liking the look of scrog

With LED grows I personally want to see a little warmer temps to get the best growth rates. LED lacks IR so leaf surface temps aren't as high as with HPS for example. I like to see a canopy temp of about 85F. Your high end is only 82.4F and your low end is only 77F. IMO those would be fine for HPS but a tad cool for LED to get the best yields and growth rates.
